"A Good Stay"
We stayed at Premier Inn Huntingdon for one night as had come from Stamford and were heading towards Peterborough the next day.
The hotel had an option to book a Premier Plus room at a great price so we opted for this - we have stayed in these rooms before and they’re great!
When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a gentleman at reception. The check out process was straightforward but I had to give my signature and nationality. I felt like giving my nationality is something that could have been done when originally booking the room online.
It was quite a long route to our room and the corridors were extremely warm which didn’t mad the trek worse.
When we arrived at our room, it was cool from the help of the A/C unit. Everything looked well and in order.
The drinking facilities were great with lots of variety. The TV didn’t have many channels available. The bed was comfy and the pillows were great and supportive.
Despite saying the reservation was for two when booking, we were only given one both towel. My partner had to go down to reception which was inconvenient (especially with the trek to and from the room). We were given an extra towel and it was rectified.
One thing to note about room 145, is that the toilet is extremely close to the shower screen. Make sure not to bump your head when you’re going toilet!
The cleanliness was to a decent standard - we can’t expect too much from hotels nowadays can we. The usual grime was seen in the bathroom around the bottom of the shower screen. However, the main facilities we used were all to a reasonable standard.
In reception, they had the usual complementary water tap and extra drinking products. The next premier inn we stayed in had ice water for this hot weather. I feel this would have been a nice touch as I’ve already mentioned, the hotel was very warm. I feel for people that didn’t have A/C in their rooms.
Overall, a good stay.

"Clean and comfy"
We use this hotel as a halfway stopover - used twice now. I've found the family room that we use to be clean and comfortable with all the basics such as towels, body wash and tea bags included. We arrived to find a fan included and running in the room which was very much appreciated given the current heat. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast deal we booked was valued for money.

"Huntington Premier Inn, short, quiet, stay."
I asked for a cool, quiet room and it was provided. Staff were helpful and eating facilities (Brewer's Fayre) were nearby. Complimentary water and diluted orange were available during this 'warm, hot, summer.'

"Excellent room provided."
We stayed on the ground floor accessible room (I'm ambulant disabled) and found it very satisfactory, one of the nicest we've had. The only complaint we had was about the lack of space on the table and bedside shelf; we stayed during the very warm weather and there was a fan taking up most of the table which was a smaller round one rather than the old desk type. I wear hearing aids, glasses and use a mobile phone and a Kindle; all of those on the bedside shelf made it rather crowded and some of the stuff fell off. However, there was a charging point and a standard plug point on both sides of the bed. The noise level wasn't too bad, once the window was shut we didn't hear a thing, and it was beautifully clean.
