"A bit of a mixed review, some negatives and positives"
Firstly the good stuff - The hotel is very conveniently located for Maddingly Park and Ride, it's just a five minute drive away. The lady at reception during check-in was friendly and efficient, it only took a minute to check-in. The other positive was the sleeping experience, the beds are super comfy and I slept very well. I was not disturbed by any noises from other rooms or from the hallway although, it seemed that not many people were staying at the hotel during our visit. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive, we had the full english breakfast.
The not so good stuff - The room had some mould above the window. The carpet was stained, I have attached pictures. I know it's just a Premier Inn and it's not an expensive hotel but we expect better from them, we've not experienced this before and we have stayed in lots of them. The room felt cold until we increased the heating to 25c, the hallway also felt cold. This was slightly strange because it wasn't that cold outside.
On the whole, it served a purpose for somewhere convenient to stay close to Cambridge, but I may look at other hotel options before booking again.

"Premier Inn Cambridge North Girton Hotel"
We arrived around 7..30 and received a warm welcome from the man on reception. We booked in quickly and found our room to be clean and tidy. We hadn't eaten so headed for the restaurant which had a nice atmosphere. We were served by Tracy who was very friendly. We didnt wait long for the food which was tasty. We enjoyed a great nights sleep, despite being situated on the ground floor near to the reception. Cooked breakfast next morning was presented beautifully on the plate. The staff were very attentive. Buffet breakfast was well stocked. A very relaxed start to the day. Thank you

"Excellent stay. I will definitely come back"
The service at reception and the restaurant was excellent. The team.always tended to our needs and ensured we were enjoying our stay. Extremely friendly and professional team. The beds are comfortable and the shower really good. Free parking and good quality of food made me feel this is a hotel i would certainly recommend and will come back to without hesitation.

"Pleasant and friendly!"
The first impression of the hotel is rather poor as the car park is poorly lit and hard to spot in the dark. But the hotel itself is fine - typical Premier Inn rooms which are very comfy. Only issue was that the TVs in both our rooms need to be retuned for the latest Freeview channels and the external socket in one room didn't work - trying to plug an HDMI lead into the back of the TV was very, very difficult. The restaurant is accessible from within the hotel, but was rather drab and looked rather run down. Food was OK though - especially table served breakfast. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rather out of the control of Premier Inn, but cellphone reception was non-existent.

"A Pleasant, Relaxing Stay - a Great Experience"
What a pleasant stayover.
Great welcome from staff on arrival. Very helpful with local directions.
The room was very clean and all expected amenities were present. As expected, the Premier Inn mattress provided for a very pleasant sleep. I wear a Whoop band and noticed it tracked possibly the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a month.
Breakfast in the attached restaurant was equally pleasant. Restaurant staff were courteous and helpful. I make that comment as whilst expected, we have stayed in other Premier Inns around the U.K. and even in the local vicinity and sometimes the behaviour of staff at other establishments has been unprofessional, rude and at times borderline aggressive. Very happy with the staff in Premier Inn (Girton).
Even greeted with a smile and friendly chat with the cleaning staff in the corridor.
Our only complaint was with the guests staying in the room above us. Sounded like they were playing British Bulldogs running around the room, perhaps even engaged in amorous throngs of passion and even being awoken with their home-brought coffee percolator which was ridiculously loud. To be fair, this was not the fault of the hotel but the guests. I would add that the hotel staff dealt with this very amicably and with one of the best customer service recovery jobs we could have imagined.
Special shoutout to the incredibly helpful, professional and courteous front of house staff Laurence and Sarita.
We will definitely be returning.
