Guests must leave by 12pm on day of departure to avoid further charges. Alternative parking can be found at Tesco, Chedders lane, Newmarket road which is limited to 15 carpark spaces (CB5 8LD). "Clean, comfortable, quiet. Poor parking."
Extremely high levels of cleanliness and comfort. The bar was bustling when we arrived (Saturday night), so I was pleasantly surprised that you couldn't hear a thing from the room, and in fact didn't hear a peep from anyone the entire time. Bathroom was adequate, perhaps a little squashed for a family visit but we were only staying for one night. Climate control excellent - MUCH better than in similar hotels we have stayed at, it was very easy to use and worked perfectly and was adequate for the size of the room despite outside temperatures being well above 30. Check in/out very efficient and easy. BUT parking is a bit of a nightmare. It's not right in the city centre so I would have expected better. The underground car park is EXTREMELY limited (and not cheap if you could get a space!). There was free parking on surrounding streets but this was not apparent from website, which made arrival quite stressful
"Tony, Anjum n Zoe Are Superstars x"
I had a wedding to attend and needed a place to stop off for my Dad as he is vulnerable. I forgot about the early check in, but Tony , Anjum and Zoe made it happen. They were all very busy but they made it possible for me. I didn’t have to wait long all. They all went there extra mile and made my life easy. Thank you all , absolute Superstar x
"Lovely hotel but awful breakfast"
Lovely clean hotel and the Premier Plus Room was excellent. The breakfast however was one of the worst I’ve ever had at a Premier Inn. Mostly cold on both days. Toaster completely useless so toast with your breakfast was out of the question. The location of the hotel is fine for visiting Cambridge and not to far out of town.
"Friendly staff and accommodating."
We had a lovely stay at Premier Inn. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated how helpful they were when I needed to use an iron and ironing board – they made sure I had everything I needed. The team at the dining area (breakfast) were also very welcoming and made us feel at home. Great service all around – thank you!
"Perfect Stay During a Cambridge Heatwave"
I stayed at the Premier Inn (Premier Plus room) while attending a conference in Cambridge, and it was absolutely perfect for my two-day trip. The room was spacious, spotless, and—most importantly—cool, which was a blessing in the middle of a 30+ degree heatwave! The bathroom was equally impressive—large, clean, with both a bath and shower. I really appreciated the little touches: coffee and water in the room, a well-cooked and genuinely tasty breakfast each morning, and above all, the friendly and welcoming staff. Everything I needed was right there. Cool, comfortable, convenient—and I’d absolutely stay again.
