Cambridge (A14, J32) hotel

Good Premier Inn, would stay again.

Here on work,the room is spacious and clean and can honestly say that the restaurant food is outstanding here,they have recently changed items on the menu and my God it's like eating great Spanish flavours in our back yard.The staff and really pleasant and professional,the boss clearly runs a tight ship and is a true credit to the team.I look forward to another visit to this area.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Cambridge A14 for one night. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome during the heatwave. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were both excellent and good value for money (the onion rings made it to my leader board!). The hotel is located in a pleasant residential area just off a main road. It is easy to get to from the A14. Although our room overlooked the A14 there was no traffic noise. There is a regular bus service from the main road (about a 5 minute walk) into Cambridge which takes about 20 minutes (£3). We were attending a family funeral and had several hours between check out and the funeral. Although it was closed the staff permitted us to sit in the restaurant while we waited and have tea and coffee ‘on the house’. We very much appreciated that and it removed the stress of driving elsewhere. Highly recommended for a visit to Cambridge.

We stayed here as we were attending a family party just over a mile away so choose this for convenience. Got it at a good price. Hotel is in a housing estate and you have a Tesco express about a 2 minute walk away. There is also a small catering unit that sells drinks and hot breakfast cobs and pastries around the corner too. Lovely helpful receptionist . Hotel was Clean, we had a room on the ground floor, exceptionally quiet and lovely and clean, smelt Fresh when you walked in the room. Comfy bed and a Great shower. We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the breakfast or dinner, we had a drink in the bar, reasonable prices. Would definitely stay here again 😊

Stayed for 2 nights in July 2026 while attending an event in central Cambridge. Chose this hotel for 2 main features: good air conditioning and a walk-in rainfall shower. The air conditioning was key due to the 2026 heat waves - and it did not disappoint. This gave us a nicely cool bedroom which made it easy to sleep. The hotel is on the northern edge of Cambridge, right next to the A14. Our bedroom overlooked the A14 and yet the noise insulation was so good that you really could not hear the road traffic at all unless you opened the window. The hotel is very modern and everything worked very nicely for us, including the walk-in shower that we wanted. Breakfast was very good and things were kept clean and tidy in the restaurant area. The location is well suited to travelling by car - plenty of parking and easy access to the A14 for travel out of Cambridge. For travel within Cambridge, the hotel is an easy walk to a bus stop on the guided busway route “A” that gets you to the centre of Cambridge in 10 minutes or so, with frequent buses right through the day and well into the evening.
