Cambridge (A14, J32) hotel

Very slow meal service. Rude flippant staff It’s a busy hotel and I get that it can be stressful but those who have traveled to stay at your hotel don’t want much more than basic curtesy.

We had a lovely overnight stay in a premier plus room. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, the meal deal was good value for money and our evening meal excellent, just be mindful you need to book early as the only time available to us was 9 o’clock at night, a little late after a 7 hour drive and there are limited alternative options within walking distance. Would love to return for a longer stay, hoping to being parents along and visit Duxford air museum.

Not very good. The service is pretty poor. Can't get a table unless you pre-book because apparently they knew they would be short staffed months in advance. Rooms are decent but free WiFi is terrible, presumably to get you to pay for the premium one. Wouldn't stay again, there are much better options in Cambridge

We regularly stay at a Premier Inn hotel when we are travelling around the country as you know what to generally expect with their rooms.  We arrived fairly late on the Friday evening, even though it appeared fairly busy with lots of vehicles in the car park, there was still plenty of spaces available.  We'd booked a Premier Plus double room as the extra cost compared to a standard one was minimal for the extras we got.  Everything appeared to be very new and in good condition, while our room faced the A14 West bound, we weren't disrupted by any traffic noise and there was no banging or thumping from any of the surrounding rooms.  There was a large, heavy duty curtain covering the whole of the external wall, yet when it was pulled back there was only a small window, which was puzzling.  We found the room to be quite hot, although we try to adjust the temperature in anyway, we did both wake up with sore necks which we're not sure if that was down to the pillows or the travelling and there was a nice large walk in shower. There is a small row of shops a short walk away where there's a restaurant of some form and a Tesco Express, where we got some milk to make a coffee and have the cereal which we'd brough with us. We didn't really interact with the staff too much over than check in/out, yet they were all pleasant and helpful.   We'd be happy to stay here again when we're passing next if the price is as attractive as it was on this occasion.

Big hotel so a bit wary when I arrived but everything spot on- comfy bed, strong shower, good soundproofing and plenty of hot food at breakfast. Only disappointment was arriving too late for dinner due to a bad accident so I lost my prepayment which seemed harsh.
