Milton Keynes South West (Furzton Lake) hotel

The location of rhis hotel is perfect for visiting Bletchley Park However, the communal areas look tired and could do with a lick of paint It was a hot day, but having a fire door propped open ! I knew there was no air con, however the fan in the room was very dusty - not great for an asthmatic There were cobwebs all over the side lights and threads left on the floor The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable - as expected It's a hotel that needs a bit of TLC

Tired building, needs urgent upgrade. Simple things need sorting. Curtains didn't close properly as 2 hooks missing. Black mold coming through in bathroom. Needs painting EVERYWHERE. Staff helpful. We were moved as our room stunk of 'weed' from previous visitor. Not sure how cleaners didn't sort that. Made me feel sick. Breakfast is reasonable.

Not staying in premier inn for a few year and we really noticed a lot of improvements More modern bathroom,spacious room, We were visiting Bletchley Park so Furzton Lake(Milton Keynes)location was excellent and we had a lovely view of the lake from our room

Excellent location for our trip to bletchley park and the restaurant nextdoor was very convenient. The only issue was that the temperature in the room was too hot and even with the window open and the fan on it was difficult to get a good sleep.

our experience was exactly the same as the previous review. room 328. there was a fan in the room which helped a little but too noisy for sleeping. it wasn't that hot that day nor the night. reception could not help. called head office to complain. told we did not qualify for the good nights sleep guarantee and referred me to the terms and conditions exclusions. basically if there is no air conditioning you cannot claim. see section 12 of the terms. who reads the terms and how many hotels have air con. "Our Good Night Guarantee does not apply where you do not have a great night's sleep due to (i) circumstances arising from the lack of a facility at a hotel where that facility was not included in the facility set of the hotel displayed or communicated to you when you made your booking (for example, due to hot weather and a lack of air conditioning, you did not have a great night’s sleep, but air conditioning was not listed as a facility at that hotel in the booking process". i think it should be made clear in the facilities section about the exclusion. Premier inn is our first choice for a stay and have done so many times.
