Milton Keynes Central (Avebury Boulevard) hotel

A 1 night stay here greeted by a lovely lady who assisted with the electronic check in, not just me others were having problems with it as well why we have these they are rubbish the staff still do the check inn!! Room great TV kettle all you need brilliant . We booked dinner and breakfast so at 6pm went for dinner, to be honest the menu not good for me but we ordered a meal and dessert each, it was 45 minutes before the food arrived my partner loved hers I left most of mine. As we ordered the dessert at the beginning we expected it to arrive quickly but 30 minutes later it still didn't arrive and had to leave to the theatre. Not getting the dessert. This isn't good enough, the fact I didn't like my food didn't cone into it it was the slow service the lady serving was lovely but it was so slow really bad. I never heard anything once I went to bed, although the pillows were so firm I discovered at 4 am there were some softer ones. But my friend in another room was kept awake by lots of noise and got little sleep. Breakfast was ok but refilling eggs bacon sausages croissants was very slow. I WILL USE PREMIER INN AGAIN BUT NOT BOTHER WITH THEIR FOOD

Easy to book online. Good email updates. Lots of parking. Great welcome. Quiet & comfortable room. Great breakfast....What more can I say??

Unfortunately while me and my husband were sleeping the bed collapsed on us. We did get a refund for our breakfast but it wasnt the breakfast it was the room so did also get a full refund for our room aswell

Clean and comfortable room. Shower could be a bit more powerful but sufficient. Location was good for our needs, simple, short walk to the train station

Stayed here over the reggaeland weekend so the hotel was understandably busy. This is a yearly event so it should be planned for and standards should not drop due to stretched services. Stayed mainly because it’s close to the event. However as a hotel I don’t think I’d ever stay here again for the price I paid. My overall impression is that it is very basic and outdated but due to location charges a lot more than it would usually be worth outside of the Reggaeland season. The room was very outdated. No shaver plug. No access to a Smart TV and what was available to watch on the TV was very limited. The AC did not work very well, room was very hot at times and there was no accessible window in this room for the option of fresh air. Room servicing wasn’t automatic, we had to request this in advance, which is fine, but wasn’t made clear on check in so we then missed the opportunity to receive much required new towels on our return to the hotel late on day 2 of 4. When checking in online, it should be simpler and smoother to collect room keys. The tea and coffee in our room were never replenished in the 4 days and 3 nights that we stayed. The room appeared clean but the sheets provided on our bed were stained. We requested new sheets which also came with stains. One of three of the lifts was broken down and with it being such a busy season this was quite frustrating. However, it was fixed swiftly, within 24-48 hours, so only affected us on a couple of the days. It was ok, and as a standard everyday hotel it sufficed, but the price was extortionate due to the season and very much not worth the money.
