Milton Keynes Central (Avebury Boulevard) hotel

Stayed here over the reggaeland weekend so the hotel was understandably busy. This is a yearly event so it should be planned for and standards should not drop due to stretched services. Stayed mainly because it’s close to the event. However as a hotel I don’t think I’d ever stay here again for the price I paid. My overall impression is that it is very basic and outdated but due to location charges a lot more than it would usually be worth outside of the Reggaeland season. The room was very outdated. No shaver plug. No access to a Smart TV and what was available to watch on the TV was very limited. The AC did not work very well, room was very hot at times and there was no accessible window in this room for the option of fresh air. Room servicing wasn’t automatic, we had to request this in advance, which is fine, but wasn’t made clear on check in so we then missed the opportunity to receive much required new towels on our return to the hotel late on day 2 of 4. When checking in online, it should be simpler and smoother to collect room keys. The tea and coffee in our room were never replenished in the 4 days and 3 nights that we stayed. The room appeared clean but the sheets provided on our bed were stained. We requested new sheets which also came with stains. One of three of the lifts was broken down and with it being such a busy season this was quite frustrating. However, it was fixed swiftly, within 24-48 hours, so only affected us on a couple of the days. It was ok, and as a standard everyday hotel it sufficed, but the price was extortionate due to the season and very much not worth the money.

We had such a wonderful experience Everything was absolutely amazing, from the beautiful atmosphere and great facilities to the warm and welcoming staff. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their face, which made us feel truly comfortable and welcomed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and there was always such a lovely atmosphere throughout our stay. We really appreciated all the effort the team puts into making guests feel special and creating a memorable experience. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable

The silence of the room and the hotel is near to rail station . At the rail station Is possibile to take the bus to Silveston and Milton Keynes bowl

I really don’t understand why this hotel is getting good reviews. The hotel is grubby from the minute you walk in the door, slime and fingerprints all over glass doors and windows. Bar and restaurant looked dirty too, so much that I skipped breakfast. Unhygienic shower curtain, they really are a thing of the past. The upholstery in my room was filthy. I couldn’t and wouldn’t sit on the chair provided to do my makeup. Air con didn’t work, to be fair a member of staff brought me a large fan which got me through the 2 nights. Room was not cleaned and replenished after coming back to room on my first evening. When I mentioned this to staff, they told me I had to pre-book for a room clean! I have no other words, I would never stay here again.
