"Not a complete disaster, but close."
We arrived for dinner with high expectations. Having stayed at several Premier Inns before, we were looking forward to another enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, it became clear almost immediately that this experience was a world away from what we had come to expect. From the quality of the ingredients to the presentation, and ultimately the flavour, the meal fell disappointingly short.
The nachos summed it up perfectly. Rather than being served with salsa and sour cream alongside or thoughtfully spooned over, both were simply poured across the top, completely smothering the tortilla chips. What should have been a crisp, shareable starter became a soggy, inedible mess. Believe me, I gave them every chance, but there was no rescuing them.
If the nachos were disappointing, the pesto pasta somehow managed to lower the bar even further. It arrived looking wrong from the outset, but one forkful confirmed our suspicions. The pasta was unpleasantly hard, as though it had left the kitchen minutes before it should have. The cheese had the texture and taste of something forgotten at the back of the fridge for far too long, while the pesto itself was so thin and watery that it clung to nothing, pooling sadly at the bottom of the bowl. It was less an Italian classic and more a culinary identity crisis.
It may seem surprising that something as simple as a plate of nachos or a bowl of pesto pasta could be so disappointing, but that's exactly why they stood out. These are staple dishes that should be consistently good, making it difficult to understand how an establishment I had always considered reliable could get such straightforward meals so wrong.
Thankfully, not everything fell short. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly throughout our stay. Those positives made the experience enjoyable in many ways, but sadly, the quality of the food overshadowed what could otherwise have been another excellent visit.

"Avoid Room 106 - You've been warned"
Avoid room 106 - If you get allocated this family room, we highly recommend you ask to change rooms or refuse staying in there entirely. The smell of damp and the inability to open a window to let in any fresh air makes the entire stay uncomfortable. Also the rooms are noisy. The door shook every time the guests on the floor above moved around. Plus we had kids running up and down the corridor but that was the least of our issues. There is nearby parking however its around ÂŁ10 a night. Make sure you park in the right bit too otherwise you'll get a fine. It's right next to McDonalds and Sainsburys which is great and you can walk right into the town centre. Dinner and breakfast was exactly what you'd expect at Premier Inn, except our starter and main course was a little over cooked causing charcoaled bits on our hunters chicken.

"Great stay for a Wembley gig"
We stayed here for four days as we were attending the Harry Styles concert at Wembley, and it was a great choice. The location was very convenient for Wembley, but also well connected to Marylebone, which made it easy to visit central London during our stay.
Everything was comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. A special mention to Jasleen, who was especially kind and welcoming and really helped make our stay even better.
Overall, a very pleasant experience and a perfect option if you are going to an event at Wembley but also want to spend some time visiting London. Highly recommended.
