"Last minute save"
Liked it : The Hotel is in city center of High Wycombe, Very close proximity of Eden Shopping mall and next to Sainsburys. The staff are helpful and the rooms are great with good mattress for a peaceful sleep. Only downside is they do not offer early check in or late check out. Hated: One of the staff at reception during check out was little rude as we got delayed by 12 mins to check out. She was not happy but I am sure if it was the polish lady she would have understood the situation .
"Unsafe hotel"
Hotel is comfortable and well located. The reasons for the low rating are two. First, phone signal at the hotel is terrible. This is caused by the hotel installing signal blockers to force you to buy their "premier, fast speed" internet. This is illegal, yet most Premier Inn hotels somehow get away with it. Second, and most importantly, the fire alarm went off for 3 minutes at 1.20am. We have two small children who were very distraught. We ran to reception with them. No explanation was provided as to the cause of the alarm, nor any apology. This was very unsettling to all guests, further raising concerns for our safety. If you can't comply with basic principles of health and safety, then nothing else matters. Appalling service.
"Regular Premier Inn customer since 2008, unlikely to go back."
The last couple of visits to Premier Inn have been very negative. Windows that don't open, no air conditionong, 26C, cheap fans from Alibaba that keep you awake and old neglected paintwork and carpet that really isn't up to scratch. Bit smelly too. I have been a regular user since 2008 when my son was born. He'd quite happily pay for Premier Inn just for the breakfast. But enough is enough. This hotel has air conditioning, is in good decoratibìve order, but this time, the window that doesn't open, was open, and wouldn't shut. We were 40meters from McDonalds so we spent the night listening to customers, had a brief respite, then the moving of bins, deliveries, and seagulls, even in High Wycombe. I remember when they asked you if you had a good night's sleep, not anymore, because I can't remember the last time I did. Beds are great but from there everything goes rapidly downhill. I doubt I will be goinf back. Really rubbish. Oh and they send you an email asking how it went. At the end they ask you if they can publish it on tripadvisor. If it's negative it never gets published. Work it out for yourself.
"Night stay."
On arrival as I had never used self check-in before, there was no staff around to assist. Luckily my daughter managed to check us in . Once checked in it was plain sailing. We found our room which was clean and the bed comfortable. To sort the air con out was easy with simple instructions. The only thing that I would say is that the lead on the hair dryer could be longer, as there was no way you could use it and be in front of the mirror provided at the same time. In fact you had to sit on the floor as the lead was that short.
"None"
Best hotel to stay and fantastic stay. Good quality food and service.Rooms was extremely clean and comfortable. The whole staff of the hotel from cleaning staff and front desk were well mannered and soft spoken. It was really good and excellent experience of stay..
