"Crawling with ants"
I stayed here on Monday 24th of August . Absolute hell. I woke up at 3am covered in ants . Had do wake the whole family up to make sure they were not covered aswell. I stayed up till morning making sure everyone was not covered. I told receptionist in morning and she just said sorry here is a number to ring . Got in touch with premier inn the next day and they only offered me £43 for my troubles . They say they have a good night sleep policy and if you don’t have it you get a full refund. How can being covered in ants not be a full refund?. Been using premier inn for 15 years and not now.

"Good value"
We booked this hotel back in January, so we got a very reasonable price for three rooms. I was disappointed to read some of the reviews given just before our visit, but we were happy with our stay. Check in was good. There are self check in machines, but we were immediately met by a member of staff and there is a bell to call someone if there is noone about. The room was clean and what we've come to expect from premier inn. We were given two fans, but the other two rooms only had one. The rooms were very warm but this was an exceptionally hot day. We were not troubled by the building work and there were plenty of spaces to park. There is parking both sides of the Brewers Fayre.
We had breakfast the next morning which was good value.

"Extremely Cruel Staff, Atrocious Service!!!"
Terrible experience from start to finish..
We checked in as a family of three for 4 nights.
Upon checking in, the reception staff were rude and made us feel unwelcome. It was evident that they did not want to be there doing that job! No information was given at reception regarding 'Wi-fi' despite me paying an extra £20 for 'Ultimate Wi-fi' for the duration of my stay.
After a long nearly 6 hour drive, I wanted to have a cup of tea utilising the in-room facilities. There were no mugs in the room for tea/coffee; only glass cups. One glass cup was disgusting as it had a large visible white mark on the inside of the cup. I decided to use the other glass instead and almost cut the inside of my mouth whilst having my cup of tea, due to a very sharp edge on the glass. A huge health & safety flaw! I took the glass cups to reception, the staff took photos and stated that it should have never happened. They replaced the glasses immediately, but the two gentleman at reception mocked me by speaking in what sounded like 'Hindi' language in front of me whilst continuing to laugh. How is this right???
The next 4 nights were terrible. The famous 'Premier Inn Good Night Guarantee' is a load of baloney! The bedroom upstairs was occupied by a bunch of hooligans. Jumping off beds then running up and down the room making loud banging noises every morning starting at 4:00am as a ritual. The banging continued until 9:00am every day. I called the hotel reception on numerous occasions to complain albeit I was palmed off. No notes on the system, no nothing!
The bathroom had mould, the extractor fan had dust like the 'Tomb of a Mummy'.
At breakfast a female staff member who's seemingly had a bad shift took her anger out on us. i.e. the paying guests. She abruptly mentioned that we had 5 minutes to eat although there was plenty of time left to eat as other guests were still walking in for breakfast. She admittedly, stated that she couldn't wait to get the hell out of there as she had been there since 5:30am and was having the worst shift of her life. We are on holiday, we don't need that sort of behaviour from staff! It's your job, do it, or quit! The lady began clearing up whilst customers were still eating.
We've been at many 'Premier Inn Hotels' in the past and have never experienced this kind of behaviour from staff!!!
I only received a £36 refund for all the issues I've had to put up with! Never will I stay in a 'Premier Inn again'.

"Room has seen better days"
Room has definitely seen better days, walls around the window damaged, wall near the window was in pretty poor shape, vinyl was coming of the front of the desk in a way that should of been fixed months ago. And the seal around the toilet most definitely needed resealing!!

"Absolutely horrendous- worst premier inn we ever used."
The worst premier inn we have ever stayed in. Place was so run down, absolutely filthy, not enough parking, food was inedible in the restaurant. I would never use this premier inn again. The only good part of our visit was the guy on reception who was very friendly and polite. Stains on pillows, just overall grim. They put all the breakfast items like bacon into these containers with lids which means everything is cooking away all morning. The bacon, eggs, everything was absolutely solid like it had been there a week. The worst premier inn breakfast or stay we’ve ever had in all our times visiting premier inns.
I should note - there is major construction going on at this premier inn but this had no baring whatsoever on our experience. The construction was no problem. It was the existing rooms and restaurant that was the problem.
