"Do yourself a favour and don’t book"
Awful!!! Lights didn’t work in the room so the switch was wedged into ‘on’ by the receptionist. A definite wiring fault that was apparently ‘safe’. Air con wouldn’t stay on longer than 2 mins (we timed it). Apparently ‘boosting to the max’ by reception meant the room stayed at 26 degrees. Even when ‘on’ it was a tiny trickle of air that could only be felt by actually having your hand on the vent. Windows don’t open??? There is no handle?? They literally cannot open???
Apparently there are no other rooms to be moved to. Except you can go online and still book several of the same room type for tonight? Either the website is lying or reception is…
Roughly 5 hours after we first complained about the room temp, they brought up the world’s most useless fan, whereby you can’t feel airflow more than half a foot away. Helpful for our two small children trying to sleep through 🥴
Filthy bathroom. Disgustingly so. Didn’t want to bathe my kids in there. Mould, mildew all sorts of spores in the air. Loads of critters and bugs (not sure how they got in because the windows DONT OPEN). Beds smelled like damp despite the Saharan temperatures. The beds are absolutely not the mattresses they’re selling, these are by far the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on (and usually I come away from a premier inn stay begging my partner to buy one of their mattresses). This feels like a Temu version of Premier Inn.
Genuinely terrible. Wouldn’t have even been happy to pay £5 for the night. Do yourself a favour and stay literally anywhere else. I’m sure a night in the car would have been cleaner, more comfortable and cooler than this shack. Foul.

"Very poor hotel and unhelpful staff member Syed"
Well Words escape me poor hotel rooms run down with a stale smell.
Very poor customer Service from Syed when going to Reception first asking about the Tv just waved me away to get to the person behind me.
When explained about the lack of channels and even tried to re tune and asked to move to move room got a flat no.
When again said about the channels just said all rooms are the same basically go away.
Very poor Tv service only 15 channels no Hd channels even no BBC channels at all apparently the hotel doesn’t have them.
That’s what he said
£457 for 4 nights room only seriously over priced run down staff rude avoid people.

"Warm"
Christ. If you ever think about going when the temperature is above 25 degrees. I seriously reconsider your choices. This is because the room temperatures feel around double that. No air-con and the facility gives you a little fan that blows the hot air around. My crisp bed is now a swimming pool of sweat. If you want a cheap overnight sauna sesh I hugely recommend this spot. As the entire place is one big sauna, very impressive to be honest. Looking forward to getting out and being able to breathe.

"Good location, tired building"
The location was handy for us just off M40. The site is large with further rooms being built (we was aware of these works before hand). There is not much parking (but at least it is free) work vans were parked in all the disabled bays so we had to park elsewhere, we did mention this to reception and they put signs on the vans. The whole place needs a revamp now looking very tired. We had to change room as the TV was not working, luckily just across the corridor but a pot of a pain. There is no air conditioning so very hot in rooms (was aware in advance). Breakfast was fine, standard offering, but again the restaurant needs total refurbishment (I hate sticky tables!) We will use again due to location and to be fair most PI's are in this condition now.

Hotel description
Enjoy some wonderful views of the Chilterns, with the M40 only a minute's drive away. High Wycombe Beaconsfield is the perfect place for work and play with three large business parks are nearby, as well as Legoland and Wembley Stadium.
Stroll around the manicured grounds at Hughenden House. Have a piece of the action at Legoland Theme Park. Or at Wembley Stadium, which is just two train stops away. Visit us in August for the Rewind Festival in Henley, then come back and truly unwind with huge comfy beds and a Brewers Fayre restaurant.
