Bristol East (Emersons Green) hotel

5 out of 5 from me. Polite & friendly staff on arrival & departure. Clean room, lovely bedding, super comfortable bed. TV worked, great picture quality. Excellent shower, comfortable night's sleep. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't have any. Very happy to recommend & will definitely stay again.

Everything I have come to expect from premier inn - lovely welcoming staff, clean room, comfortable bed, powerful and hot shower, fab WiFi (I paid for the ultimate service) really good quality breakfast, great response from the receptionist when I checked out and let her know that the shower had a leak - it did not affect my stay in the slightest but the receptionist was apologetic and appreciated that I had reported the issue - at the end of the day if you don’t report these things how can they fix them for future guests? In my opinion if guests are more open and honest about the condition of rooms, the staff will do all they can to maintain things to a high level. Overall I had a great stay and I’m always happy with a premier inn.

Reception staff really friendly. Ample parking. Bed comfortable Linen clean and good quality. Paid for the enhanced wifi £5 Good signal and speed. Room had build up of dust and fluff around skirting and under bed, could do with a little extra cleaning. Bathroom clean, although floor felt like you were going to go through, like flooring was rotten under the vinyl Didn't have breakfast so no comment. Bit pricey for mid week but was close to where I needed. And yes I would stay again.

Keria and Lizzie dint give a warm welcome they were whispering between themselves during our check in. I requested two upstairs rooms which they explained the bed wasn't made in one of them. I explained we were leaving for dinner and they agreed to make it whilst we were out. We came back to the bed not being made. We spoke to Keria on reception who said it would be over an hour before she could make it due to her completing admin work. I explained were getting ready for bed and this would not be suitable. She said Admin work came before making the bed. I was too tired to question this so asked for the bedding, she directed me as to where I could find the pillow and duvet. Myself and family ended up making the bed ourselves. This is not something I expect to have to do when I have paid for the hotel. bathroom sink plug hole smelt. free wifi didn't work had purchase ultra wifi at £5.00 (I would like this refunded) breakfast room out of use. Would been nice to have been told prior.

The room itself was perfectly adequate, and I did sleep well, so no complaints on that front. However, the breakfast experience was extremely disappointing and significantly detracted from the overall stay. Breakfast was served in a very small room referred to as “The Social,” which was wholly inadequate for the number of guests. The space was incredibly cramped, with people having to squeeze past and clamber over one another just to reach the food area. It created a chaotic, uncomfortable atmosphere that felt far below what I would reasonably expect. The food was set out in a very limited serving area, with a restricted choice of options. On top of that, items were not being replenished properly. Due to the overcrowding and lack of available food, we were ultimately unable to have breakfast at all—despite having paid for it. Considering the hotel has over 100 rooms, the size and setup of this breakfast area is clearly not fit for purpose. It feels like a temporary or makeshift arrangement, possibly a converted bedroom after the loss of the pub space, but it simply does not meet an acceptable standard for guest dining. Overall, while the room was fine, the breakfast situation was a major letdown and needs serious improvement.
