"This hotel is excellent- clean - conveniently situated just off the M5 - friendly staff - close to alternative food."
I booked this hotel as I was working locally for a couple of days - I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff were friendly and helpful Lewis Aleena and Helen made me feel welcome and nothing was a problem they were all more than happy in their work. (Very funny overhearing their conversations ) Evening meal was a bit of a let down after breakfast . Rooms were clean but corridors and lifts were dirty. Car park was free which was a bonus. Overall great stay and I will return.
"Lovely hotel definitely recommend"
Such a lovely hotel, beds comfortable, room modern and spacious. Breakfast was lovely, nice bar and restaurant area. We ate in the pub next door it was lovely. Close to Bristol Zoo Project and Cribbs Causeway. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.
"Found a 2 star premier inn"
Think we have found a 2 star premier inn. Stayed for 1 night and 1 night was more than enough. We have stayed in many premier inn hotels around the country and this one at cribbs arguably has to be one of the worst. Firstly, the room quite frankly was not clean to have any guests staying in it. Did complain but hotel was full so no chance of room change, but was offered some fresh sheets by reception who has to be said was helpful. Premier inn prides itself on a good night's sleep, which you would get at most but not this one. For a start, you have a constant beat of music (not sure where from), whether it's from the hotel grounds or surrounding it's very noticeable. So if you're a light sleeper, this could be a problem. Then there is the mattress - lumpy. So, all in all, if you can put up with a dirty room, a lumpy mattress, and the beat of music, then this hotel could be for you, but I'd give it a miss and look elsewhere this time.
"Good. Just short of perfection."
I had a Plus room for 3 nights. Room was clean and all the extras were present and correct. The air con worked a treat. That’s a major plus! Breakfast was decent. Not gourmet food, but tasty well cooked all you can eat full English. They are understaffed though and they struggled to keep up with clean cups and cutlery. In practice you have to hunt down a staff member. This happens every time I visit! I had dinner one night and had a mixed grill, the rare steak was more like mid rare and there was a solid lump of gristle. For the price though it was perfectly acceptable. Just think dinner, and not posh dining out and you’ll be happy. Thankfully parking is now free - it was an absolute outrage they charged before for a motorway hotel! A real annoyance is internet. I got the Ultimate WiFi as part of the Plus package. It’s stingy at 8mbs and my iPhone was finicky about letting me enter the codes for the captive portal. Plus you have to enter a new code each day. I’d sooner not have bothered but the EE phone signal is zero in parts of the hotel. It’s a fantastic 500mbps in the room, but zero in the restaurant. This was a pain because I wanted to WhatsApp my relatives to let them know I was just finishing breakfast so they could pick me up. It’s possible to cheaply add phone signal boosting in hotels. To me decent phone coverage would be a much bigger selling point than naff WiFi.
"Certainly will be coming back here."
The staff at this hotel are amazing. So pleasant friendly and there to assist you. One member that really out-shined the rest was Cathy. Congratulation and keep up the good work.
