Bristol City Centre (Lewins Mead) hotel

Very clean and comfortable room ,the food was first class and staff very polite and welcoming. The price was very good. Local to the city centre.

Bathroom was absolutely filthy, dust set off allergies. You could smell the drains on the top floor on as soon as you got off the lift, which was then worse when entering the bedroom. Complained to a member of staff who said they would get housekeeping to have a look. Most unpleasant dirty premier inn I've stayed in

Excellent hotel right in the city centre. I chose this hotel as my son was having surgery at the eye hospital. Which is 20 second walk away. It was quiet, clean, very comfortable and the staff are kind friendly and really accommodating to any needs. I needed to take food to the room for my son, and this was no issue at all. The staff made my life so much less stressful. The bar/restaurant staff were really kind. I was told because I hadn’t booked breakfast I may have to pop back as it was busy. I explained the situation and the lovely lady then said to grab a tray and get what I wanted. Id especially like to say that Gary in the bar/restaurant was incredible helpful and kind. His customer service is 10/10. I’d highly recommend this hotel. They don’t have on site parking, but I used the Just Park car park which is a 5 min walk away.

Room was comfortable and clean. Experience at breakfast was chaotic. Too many people in the restaurant resulting in queues and long waiting times, whilst hot food was cooked. Plates and cups slow to be replenished. No communication from managers. Chef ran of his feet. Not at all a relaxing breakfast experience.

Last week I took a solo trip to Bristol! My main purpose was to see the Moulin Rouge tour but I knew I would spend a bit of time in my hotel so wanted to go for a trusty Premier Inn. I have stayed in many Premier Inn's over the years, but my stay at Lewins Mead was one of my favourites. On arrival the staff were very friendly, I was a bit early for check in and told the FOH team I would sit and wait but they said they could check me in! I was offered a higher or lower floor, I said I didn't mind and was on floor 6. My room was incredibly clean and felt instantly comforting. I was very warm after walking from Temple Meads station so put the air con on which kicked in very quickly and really cooled the room down. The room has all the facilities that you need including a decent sized TV. I stayed for two nights and you can ask to have your room cleaned in between but I chose not to! I had the best night's sleep whilst I was there, considering the location I thought it might be quite noisy but my room was very peaceful and I had no disturbances. The hotel has a bar and restaurant that I didn't use during my stay but was often busy and looked good! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the shopping district and about a 10 minute walk away from the marina, theatre and lots of restaurants. If I came back to Bristol I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
