"Awful hotel- never again"
This hotel is in utter disrepair. I have never seen anything like it. It’s like an abandoned US motel. We stayed because we had a funeral the next day very closeby otherwise we would have run for the hills. The entire place was so old and decrepit.
Filthy carpets, now I mean filthy. The stairs carpet was disgusting. Broken stair lift. Filthy windows. Dead flies. Every single AC unit was broken. The heat was crazy. We were given a fan but had to ask for water. This place either needs to be closed down or a massive job done refurbishing. The entire outside was awful, broken, gardens abandoned, tumbleweed! I wish I had taken photos. It’s an embarrassment to the Premier Inn group.
I will say the beds were comfy and the bedlinen and towels were good quality. Bathroom was dated, grubby and tiny.
Breakfast had to be ordered, and was good, we enjoyed the fresh eggs etc, and staff were welcoming and friendly but that doesn’t make up for the state of the place.
The pub adjacent outside is also very run down but inside was nice and the food was very good.

"Oh no"
Appreciate we knew there was no aircon, but was so hot even with the fan going full blast all night and only a sheet to cover which wasn't used. Not to much sleep.
Used the bathroom quite a bit to splash water over ourselves. The door hinges squealed horribly.
Looked forward to checking out and getting in car to cool off.
Restaurant next door was brilliant.

"First class"
Hotel was very good. Although the outside looked a little outdated inside was a clean modern look up to usual premier inn standards. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would use it again without doubt.

"Poor sleep guaranteed. No A/C"
Stayed with PI many times. Usually good but this time not so good. Still no A/C and virtually no sleep. A fan pushed hot air around the room and though we paid extra for a twin (2 single beds) I got a double and a sofa bed. Not at all useful. Extra bed provided then room very cramped. As usual no offers or rewards for regular customers. Breakfast was good.

"Great premier inn"
Good sized room with a window that actually opens and bonus of a balcony.
Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff and lovely pub in the vicinity.
