"Great staff and breakfast"
Building requires updating but what made our two visits special were the reception staff and the staff cooking and looking after the breakfast. So friendly and breakfast was lovely. Cooked well. We thought it was better than a 4 star breakfast we had recently eaten. Customer set light to something in the toaster and staff member was so calm and dealt with it so professionally.

"NOT suitable for wheelchair users"
These premises are NOT suitable for wheelchair users. I use a Powerchair and have stayed at several other Premier Inn's, on my own, where I am able to have full independence throughout the premises. These premises, the doors are narrow, too heavy to open, and then close as I'm trying to get through them. Luckily, on this occasion, I had others with me who I had to rely on.
The breakfast room is up steps. There is a platform lift, which keeps breaking down, so access is through a fire door, up a lip too high for my chair, so I had to get out the chair and have the chair brought in through the door. On the one occasion the platform lift was working, just, it was a horrifying experience. We waited 5 minutes for someone to come and operate it, only one person seemed to know how. There is a barrier that comes over the top of the person using the lift - at some speed, which nearly hit two staff members on the head. Clearly a risk assessment needs doing on this as it's so dangerous.
In the bathroom, there is a large button, on the shelf behind the toilet, which says "press". Inquisitive as to what it was for - lighting maybe, I pressed it. Seconds later, a member of staff knocked on the door to check if I was ok - apparently it's an emergency button. There was no notice saying this and is not accessible if I fell on the floor.
This Premier Inn seems like some poor neglected relation to all the other Premier Inn's I've stayed in. Very disappointed.

"Ugly building but clean, comfortable accommodation"
Advertised with a nice bedroom picture, this isn't the prettiest of buildings and the corridors make it feel like cheap holiday camp. However, our room was priced fairly, spacious, clean and comfortable.

"Great as usual"
The family room was great and the beds very well made. No air con (we were made aware of that at booking) but the room had a fan provided. That would have been slightly more difficult in the very hot weather. Clean and quiet, and the breakfasts were nice. Parking was easy and the location great for what we needed. We have stayed here multiple times.
