Bristol (Alveston) hotel

Dance competition trip.. Great night sleep 😴 The staff are amazing 👏 The breakfast was also amazing tracy the cook was brilliant very welcoming 10/10 Callum was our seater very cool man nice to chat to. Reception.. Karen was amazing bundle of joy welcomed us in.. All round amazing place to stay ✨️ 5star from us Nottingham lot xxxx

Nice basic hotel staff at reception very helpful and extremely polite, the rooms are clean and very warm as it was a freezing January day, the beds are very comfortable and the room had a good shower

Upon booking we rang the hotel to request downstairs rooms due to mobility, this was dealt with quickly and easily. When entering the hotel we were greeted by staff on reception Karen, Kelly and Tracey who was cheerful and friendly. We checked in with no problems. Our rooms were spacious and clean with lovely balcony’s overlooking the local cricket pitch. Breakfast was served in a newly built breakfast room which was modern and clean, the breakfast itself was delicious with a lovely selection available. Porridge and poached eggs were made to order, the chef we had met before and very friendly and welcoming. We breifly spoke to Sammy a housekeeper to ask for a top up on the tea tray as we didn’t need a room clean and she was more than happy to assist, when we returned later she had emptied the bins for us too. Overall we had a fantastic stay here and would recommend to others. Thank you Alveston There’s a few bits that could do with updating such as the outdoor areas, however we are aware this is down to head office and not that of the staff at Alveston.

Great hotel and pub opposite. Very welcoming in both hotel and the pub. Nice reasturant in the pub and good selection of food and drinks
