Bristol (Alveston) hotel

We had an amazing 2 night stay! The room was great with the bonus of a little balcony. After seeing previous reviews on here about the rooms being dated and hot, I almost cancelled, but I'm so glad I didn't! The room was lovely and cool even tho it was 34c outside! The hotel is in lovely grounds if you have a little walk around and it's quirky but in a good way, we loved it's character! The breakfast room is also a big bonus. The lady that was working in there was fantasticly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! Id definitely return to this hotel and recommend to others.

I was staying at the hotel solo because I was meeting family friends the following day. After a 3 hour drive, the car parking and check in was easy. The room was a typical Premier Inn room and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again.

On arrival the driveway gave the appearance of a Lovely Building, but sadly it appeared a 2 Storey Old (possibly Post House Hotel) Unloved building in need of exterior attention. But once your past the surprise of the exterior the inside provided what you'd expect from a Premier Inn Hotel. When we stayed in August 2026 it was very hot & being a 2 Storey Flat Roofed Building even the fan provided made the top floor room very hot. Overall worth the stay as was reasonable price.

The hotel was reminiscent of the film Trainspotting. Perfectly suitable if you are looking to be locked in a dismal room to go cold turkey. The bathroom was filthy and the bathroom bin had not been emptied. There was mould on the walls, flaking paint and it looked dirty. There was a helpful sign to say that the room didn’t have air conditioning. Not 100% accurate. It did at one point have aircon. It is just broken. A cheap noisy and dusty desk fan is provided to move the musty air around the room. I made the mistake of forgetting my toothbrush. Thankfully they are available to purchase at reception. Cash only. Why is a mystery. Reception simply could not help me. Possibly the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in

You have to see this place to believe it is an actual Premier Inn. It is so run down and scruffy. They should be ashamed that it has their name. The windows are absolutely filthy. Thank goodness we were only staying for one night. Cecilia the Receptiontist was very courteous. The room was ok ish. Nice bedlinen and towels but that doesn't make up for or the fact that IT IS A DUMP!
