"A pleasant stay at Premier Inn"
We stayed here for a couple of nights in June when visiting friends nearby. Overall impression of the hotel was good & the room was nice. Very clean & tidy with a comfortable bed. We couldn’t fault the room, albeit at almost £200 for 2 nights was definitely on the expensive side. It wasn’t a great first impression of the staff unfortunately, as the girl on reception was grumpy & a little rude, but maybe she was having a bad day. We also spoke with Sam in housekeeping, she was pleasant & friendly & asked if we had everything we needed, which was nice. Overall we had a nice stay & will definitely stay here when we’re visiting again just before Christmas.
      "Amazing"
Daria sagar is incredible, amazing catering and great food. Thank you very much for being so good to us as we stay so often.
      "Good location"
Premier Beds always so comfy, had some air con issues in a heatwave, breakfast as always very good, and staff were friendly and very helpful. Prices increases for Ascot Races are somewhat of a concern and will probably seek other hotels due to the cost this year, as im sure it will only increase for next year.
"A good value hotel but shame about the lack of parking on-site."
The hotel is generally very good, very clean, with attentive, polite staff. The room was an ideal size for our two-night stay and the bathroom had plenty of space for toiletries. There is no two-pin charging point for an electric toothbrush or razor., which we found surprising. The hotel is on the corner of a busy main road and there isn't anywhere to stop utside and unload, unless you want to take a chance on double yellow lines, or in the next door Lidl car park which requires you to sign-in at the tills. Car parking is at a nearby multi storey, which isn't ideal if there are lots of bags to carry or the weather is bad. The hotel staff advise paying for parking at the multi storey on their foyer-based ticket machine. We did, paying £7 for 36 hours (starting at 9pm), but still got a parking fine! There are connection problems between the hotel machine and the enforcement team. We have appealed to the Council but it's unnecessary hassle. We ate at the hotel on both mornings and enjoyed the full breakfast and the continental. There was plenty of choice in the self service area and access to hot drinks as and when needed. We would stay there again.
"3 nights of good sleep. A great stay!"
Bed very comfy, quiet room, clean, accessible room suited my needs, even had a USB plug socket! Staff friendly. Windows did not open at all but there was air-con. Blackout curtains were great too! Stayed for 3 nights will be returning. Didn't use restaurant but it looked clean and inviting.
