"As expected"
Heads up on where thermostat was would have been good as not able to open window and was very warm. I slipped in the bath so wasn't able to shower and U don't do assessable family rooms was suggested I book two rooms but why would I do that and pay £172 instead of £86 as there was only 3 of us. Walls are quite thin so could hear all noise. Staff helpful and friendly. Would stay again and get room with shower next time.

Room far too hot and stuffy despite air conditioning which kept us awake with noise. Mattress was awful, the one pillow far too soft. Winter quilt in middle of heatwave and windows do not open. Breakfast was terrible and not cooked, they need a new chef.

Lovely welcome from Debbie on reception. The hotel was spotless & the rooms fresh & clean. It was nice to have air con as it was pretty warm.
The breakfast & evening meal were fresh & delicious. Pity the restaurant is being turned into a soulless Social eatery. A bad move in my book!

Wonderful 1 night stay with evening meal and breakfast. We all thought the evening meal was excellent and the garlic bread was fab!
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable

Me and my boys really enjoyed our two night stay here. The beds are so comfy, rooms are really clean and staff are very friendly.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection. The only thing that lets breakfast down is you have to order and the only person that seems to be proactive and friendly in our experience was the guy. Not sure if he’s the owner of the pub but he’s lovely and welcoming. The offer staff you have to try and get their attention after they’ve given you menus to order. Yesterday morning we ordered with one lady and she must have forgotten to ask them to put the bacon and sausages on our plate but she did seem in a rush to take our order.
We will definitely return though as apart from that it was brilliant. Thank you.
