Winnersh hotel

All pretty average though expensive for a Premier Inn. Totally spoiled experience as the result of coming down to pre booked and paid for breakfast only to find that the restaurant was closed because it apparently didn’t have any water despite the hotel itself in the same building having a full supply as did adjacent businesses. No attempt to suggest alternatives or to do more than offer a refund of what we had already paid “when the manager comes in and can process it “.

Convenient for the train station to Twickenham (& Ascot.) Comfortable bedroom, quiet, affordable, easy to have gluten free breakfast and staff helpful and diligent. Thank you

No.one came to clean the bathrooms for 2 days. even on request. . requested for new towels. not provided. very bad experience overall..

A great experience. Clean, tidy, comfortable, friendly, soft sheets - nice pillows..no neck ache!!! Air-Co was a godsend during the June 2026 heatwave. My disability requirements were well taken care of. Particularly liked the standard check-out time of 12:00 midday! Hotel and Restaurant staff were outstanding.

This hotel is ideally located for visits to Royal Ascot being only a short walk to the station. Car Parking provided at hotel. The hotel and staff were very good and helpful in general. Rooms were perfectly clean, good shower, and aircon provided. Prices were high but as expected for Ascot week when demand is high. The negative side and the one thing that made the stay memorable for the wrong reason was the quality of some of the food and early closing of the restaurant. On the first night, the burgers and steak we had were very dry. The chicken wings starters and chicken skewer main were warm at best. There was a man in the table behind us who sent his steak back twice and finally just walked out without eating. On the second night we went to eat at 20:50 and was told that the restaurant had stopped serving food because the staff had been working in a hot kitchen all day??? It should have been open until 23:00. Asked what we were supposed to do for food, we were told that there was a pub in the town, or a 5 Guys across the main road??? The following morning the couple we were with got a full refund for the meal deal and we were told it would be sorted and to call back if the money wasn’t with us by the end of the week! To be clear the hotel staff we had no issues with, and the serving staff in the restaurant were fine - especially the Saturday morning team which couldn’t have been more helpful. This was the fourth but probably last time we’ll be staying at this particular hotel.
