    "Good base for Legoland/London"
    We stayed at Premier Inn Slough (Uxbridge Road) for 5 nights while visiting Legoland and London. We chose it because it was cheaper than Windsor, has decent parking (£8/day) and offers easy access to London via Elizabeth Line. The hotel is what you would expect from a Premier Inn. Some parts looked a bit worn/tired but room was clean and comfortable (some corridor noise but that wasn't the hotel's fault). But what stood out was the staff - everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Renata at breakfast, who greeted everyone with a smile and did an amazing job ensuring every guest got what they needed, as well as chatting to our kids and bringing them colouring every day. The hotel was a great base for our trip. There is a huge Sainsbury's right next door where we stocked up on lunch. Legoland is 15 mins drive (bit longer coming back at rush hour). The train station is <1 mile and you can get a travel card for a day out in London (again, staff super helpful). Best of all we found an excellent Japanese restaurant on the high street, called Mori. It's about 20 mins walk and so good we ate there twice.

    Nice comfy clean room, fan in bathroom was noisy and sink plug didn’t work but otherwise great. Breakfast was lovely! Renata was so friendly, nothing was too much for her. Lovely stay
    "Perfect for Legoland"
    We stayed overnight while visiting Legoland. Lovely big and clean room. 0 traffic noise or noise from other rooms. Renata at breakfast was lovely ! Very welcoming , couldn’t do enough for us and my little boy loved her :) will definitely stay again on our next visit

    Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. A great breakfast, Renata was lovely and made sure we had everything we could need.
    "Good until the carnage"
    Ok here it goes, arrived no issues, room no issues, food really good. Arrived back from a family gathering jump into bed then BOOM! Fire alarm goes off, yep grab ya clothes head outside, dam thing then stops. Then for the next 2 hours it keeps going off intermittently, no comms from staff who I only think was going through hell. Police and Ambulances all outside in the car park, still no comms. We gave up knowing it was going to be an on going issue with whatever was going on. Went downstairs and it was carnage kids and people everywhere. Left and drove home. Easy fix, isolate the fire panel from the situation until resolved. We’ll be in touch!

    Slough. And Premier Inn really is the perfect place to break the journey. Minutes away from the motorway network and Slough train station, you can zoom into London, or scoot around the sights nearby. Which royal residence would you like to visit? In under an hour you're in Paddington, with Buckingham Palace just up the road. But Windsor is even closer, and there's Legoland too. Wherever you're headed, return to your own palace here at Slough, with comfy beds and a Thyme restaurant too.
