Stayed for the reading festival on the Sunday the 30th.
The receptionist was amazing so helpful and just a ray of sunshine.
The staff on in the evening when we returned were exceptional also nothing was to much.
Reading central you should be proud of your staff .
We will be returning here again next year..

Awful customer service and a dreadful breakfast – avoid this location
I had an incredibly stressful experience at this hotel, and the staff completely lacked basic customer service skills. Arriving here with my daughter, the check-in process was made needlessly difficult. It felt like "touch and go" whether they would even let us into our room due to an overly rigid and aggressive approach to policy, showing zero hospitality or common sense.
This was exacerbated when we returned after our evening out with no access to the hotel, doors locked and a security guard taking 15 mins to discover on his paper that we'd already checked in. I have stayed at a lot of premier inns and never seen anything like this debacle.
To make matters worse, the breakfast was dreadful. We were left waiting for 10 minutes just to be seated, with absolutely no apologies from the staff for the delay given that they were obviously just chatting in the kitchen when I eventually went to find them. When we finally got to the food, it was a massive disappointment. The eggs were rubbery, the sausages were cold, and the entire atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming.There was a complete lack of warmth, training, and hospitality from start to finish. A hotel stay should be relaxing, but the staff here made it tense and frustrating. I will not be returning.
The staff at this location seriously need training or supervision or they should find their happiness elsewhere.

Nice stay, room not that good stains on pillow case had to get changed dust and hair in corners and behind bed light above bed did not work and the mattress in room 510 not great had a dip in middle you sank into. Staff was great and friendly
