    "Breakfast"
We were walk ins during breakfast, staff were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast itself was good, the hot breakfast was empty, on 1st arrival but it was soon refilled. Main issue for us was the £3 flat rate for parking considering the are promting kids eat for free to bring in the customers and we were only doing the breakfast.
"Very friendly and customer aware staff"
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff and management on a long business trip which require a number of weeks stay at the Newbury inn London rd. I was treated with a great experience and friendly staff which made my business trip that needed me to attend Newbury for several weeks and including last minute weekend bookings friendly and devoted staff which roose to the the occasion with mechanical issues that occurred and always made it possible to have a full breakfast when thinks didn't go to plan with breakdowns of appliances out of staff control. Thank you and greatly appreciated Larry
    "Put me off premier inn"
Well below the standard you expect from premier inn. Room poor, welcome non existent, breakfast very poor. Not what you expect from a premier inn, puts me off using them.
"Obviously understaffed and a disappointing experience"
The room was smaller than most Premier Inns we've stayed in, and felt a little uncomfortable with fixed windows and a noisy ventilation system. Travelodge are the absolute masters of minimal storage, but Premier Inn are learning. Here you get one short clothes rail with one shelf above and one drawer below. The 'bedside table' is just a small stool. Not designed for more than an overnight stay, but being situated at the far end of a large trading estate, probably nobody would want to. And although nobody but hotel guests would possibly want to park there, they graciously add a 'discounted' fee of £3 per night for parking. The restaurant was small and struggled to accommodate people. The chef was clearly struggling to get meals out, and a two course meal took nearly two hours. Our food was acceptable but we did witness nearby tables complaining and sending food back. At a very busy time, just three staff battled to cope with the restaurant, the bar and the reception desk. The staff personally were all fine with us, but obviously stressed by the workload.
    "Lovely Stay"
On arrival polite staff greeted us for an easy check in. Plenty of car parking spaces in the car park. The Hotel is situated in a convenient location with a bus service into Newbury nearby, and a large supermarket to name two. The hotel was clean as was our room with a very comfortable bed. The only negative comment I can make is there was no electric shaver point in the bathroom and there was not one electric power socket that incorporated a USB point. Taking into account the cost of our stay this hotel offered exceptional value . We would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.
