Newbury Town Centre (London Road) hotel

Perfect location the hotel doesn’t have parking but the car park across the road was perfect and not too costly. The rooms were great for what we wanted .The staff were all great everyone was very friendly and polite.We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good plenty of of choices and hot ,Stayed here before and will definitely go back.

We stayed for one night on 22 May 2026 as a group of four friends and had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel was well located in the centre and all what you expect from a Premier Inn. The bar area was particularly nice, and the extra parking charge wasn't as expensive as first thought. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to a member of staff who I believe was called Debbie. She was lovely and genuinely helpful. Overall, it was a great experience and we are booking to return in May 2027. Thank you to the whole team!

What a fantastic welcome from Pete and Paula. Excellent service, location and breakfast. Cheers for the fresh eggs Alex. The kind of service that has mostly disappeared. The best place for breakfast in Newbury and great value. We will definitely return.

Well where do I start. Booked a room to go to a country music festival just up the road, got to the hotel and was told it’s an accessible room as this was the last remaining room. No issue with being an accessible room but the room was disgusting from top to bottom. 1. Black mould in bathroom 2. Mould on curtains 3. The shower drain hadn’t been cleaned for months if not longer. 4. Dust and cobwebs riddle inside the extraction fan. 5. Cobwebs in every corner of the room 6. Dust on every surface 7. Stained sheets 8. Bed sheet ripped. 9. Dirty lampshades 10. Hairs on the bed and chair from previous stay. Went to question the room and ask for another but was told this was the last room and was told to complain through customer relations, Well after trying to get through to customer relations for more than 5 days, pictures forwarded (Which have been attached to my review) I was then told I would get a response within 24hrs .. now after 18 days have past I’m told as I didn’t complain within 24hrs I’m not eligible for a refund!!!!
