    "Graet"
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing, professional, and friendly. The hotel is old but very clean. Breakfast was very good
    "EXCELLENT"
i have stayed in premier inn hotels across the country however this one has been the best. The staff is extremely polite and helpful especially a staff remember i came across during my stay a young lady, Milena. She was extremely helpful and radiated kindness, answered all my questions in a professional and polite manner, making my stay that much better. The food was great and the room was clean and satisfactory. I would like to thank Milena for making my stay more comfortable. I would defiantly stay again.
    "Would not recommend this Hotel"
Although we arrived an hour after check in time, it took about 20 mins to check into just 2 rooms because my brother's room wasn't even ready.... so the receptionist had to find another room that was ready. The reason given for this problem was because the Hotel had been very busy the day before! Surely this is a poor excuse for a Hotel who shouldn't book out all their rooms if they are going to struggle once at full capacity!! Our room smelt very musty on entering and we couldn't air the room as it had a sign advising it was a non-opening window. I appreciate we were on the 5th floor, however, I have stayed in hotels who have windows that are made to only slightly open when on a high floor. The carpet in our room was grubby and stained (as were the corridor carpets tbh) so that might have contributed towards the unpleasant musty smell. We did toy with the idea of asking to be given another room but, as we were already running late for a family party, as they were experiencing problems with rooms not being ready and we were only staying one night, we decided it wasn't worth the bother. Our room was very 'tired' and in need of decorating. Although the bathroom was clean, paint was peeling off the skirting boards. What baffles me is these things are easily rectified so why are rooms left like this and booked out to people in this state? It's as if the Hotel doesn't care about it's customers or it's reputation! Breakfast the next day was very nice, well cooked and presented with plenty of choice, however, sadly, not without issue. I had filled up my water bottle from the restaurant glass urn for the journey home. When I drank some enroute home, it had a strange taste to it so I asked my husband to try some and see if he agreed... and he did. I wondered if the Hotel might use some sort of sterilising tablet to clean their glass water urns as that's the only thing I could liken the taste to. Needless to say, I threw the water away to be on the safe side. I can honestly say this is the worst Premier Inn we have stayed in! We would not recommend it, nor would we stay here again!
    "Smelly Room"
Stayed at maidenhead Premier Inn. Room had a very bad smell all the time of the stsy and air conditioning control panel was broken.
"Careful when you book a twin room, since Premier inn thinks words mean whatever they want, and they will then be rude"
I stayed at this hotel as part of a large activity organised by a third party. I paid for a twin room. According to this company, a “twin room” has a giant bed and a tiny bed. Because the normal meaning of “twin” is obviously “two vastly different things”. The receptionist was extremely rude, saying, and I quote “it’s not our problem whoever booked the room for you didn’t read the room description”. This company advertises things with a misleading name, then blames the customer for believing in the misleading name. I am shocked and disgusted. Call things the right name, for crying out loud. Words have meaning.
