Good value, but fantastic service from Caroline, friendly, funny and helpful

We visited the Premier Inn for the night on my wife's birthday as we were visiting LEGOLAND the next day, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant, the service was absolutely fantastic, Caroline and Maxine went above and beyond to welcome us, they were exceptional, I very rarely leave reviews but really felt the need to with the service we received. Highly recommend the Big Stack Burger.

We stayed at Premier Inn after a disappointing day at LEGOLAND, which had closed early due to an external water supply issue. After the disappointment of our plans being cut short, it was lovely to have a much more positive experience at the hotel. As usual, we had a good night's sleep, which is one of the reasons we regularly choose Premier Inn. The rooms are comfortable, and we generally know what to expect from our stay. However, the real highlight of this visit was our dinner experience, thanks to Caroline. We stay at Premier Inns quite regularly and, unfortunately, our experiences in the restaurants have often involved extremely poor service. In fact, we have come to expect it. Caroline completely changed that experience. She appeared to be managing everything single-handedly, from organising colouring for the children and seating guests to taking food orders and preparing drinks at the bar. Despite having so much to do, she delivered an absolutely outstanding standard of service. There was no unnecessary waiting, no need to chase anything and no need to ask for things to be done. She was attentive, proactive, organised and on top of everything. What impressed me most was that she managed to make the whole experience feel effortless for the guests, despite what must have been an incredibly demanding shift. With two young children, being able to sit down and enjoy a meal without constantly having to chase service makes such a difference. Caroline is an absolute credit to Premier Inn, and I genuinely hope her management team recognises the fantastic job she is doing. Customer service like hers deserves to be celebrated, particularly when she is clearly working so hard to look after everyone. After an already disappointing day, Caroline helped make our evening a really positive one. She has certainly challenged our expectations of Premier Inn restaurant service, and I cannot praise her highly enough. Thank you, Caroline, for such a fantastic experience. You made a real difference to our stay!

Caroline is a star, what a great welcome when you step into that Bar, bunches of personality, great hospitality. A credit to the business. Great Hotel.
