Luton Town Centre hotel

I’ve never stayed in a Premier Inn like this one. The room was dirty and furnishings were very tired. The carpets in the hallways were filthy as was the inside of the lift. The unlimited breakfast was not unlimited, there was a small selection of pastries / cereals/ yoghurt and all cooked breakfast items had to be ordered and were cooked to order. The card machine was intermittently broken so they could not accept payments at the bar. A member of our party had to change rooms due to being bitten by insects unknown ( bedbugs?) during the night. Really disappointing for a premier inn and I cannot recommend it.

I come here every few months and I just love it It’s a Premier Inn - no shocker there. . But it’s the team. You genuinely think you’re sat in your local. Someone on here has left a review saying it’s like Faulty Towers. It is, but for all the best reasons. I sat at dinner tonight and they just remember regular guests, banter with them, remember their drinks, know if they have a meal deal. They are friendly and care and really take the time to make you feel like a ‘guest’. The chef - I watched him tonight make all the meals - he was busy - but he does it with care and attention and food was cooked perfectly. How rare is that for a hotel chain that churns out the same food? It’s a lovely hotel simply because of the staff. They make it such a lovely ‘home from home’ experience, which is especially important when most of us are clearly here for work.

the location is near a shopping center which is very convenient, the rooms are spotless and very comfortable. aside from where it is and the great value the staff made the experience enjoyable, they are always smiling and willing to help. will definitely book again !

The room was beautiful. The AC works beautifully and it's nice and cold. Hannah at reception helped a lot. She was sweet and lovely to talk to

Excellent place to stay - not your typical Premier Inn stay - and that’s down to the front of house staff!! Almost forgot the kitchen staff (Paul and Mandy). Manda is like a breath of fresh air. Nothing too much trouble. And that same ethos is passed down to her staff - all of which will ( not would) go the extra mile. We stay regularly and it’s like our home during the week. Tried other places over the past few years but nothing compares. Marks out of 5 - a big fat 10!!
