Bedford South (A421) hotel

Convenient location. Large rooms, well laid out, everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Went for the better size room but the banging and running in the above room at 12.30am through to 1.30am totally messed up the so called relaxed evening/morning. No action seem to be taken after telling reception in the early hours A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP WASNT HAD BY ALL

I have stayed a total of 5 night during April for a work trip. Firstly, the location was accessible from major roads/motorway. There was a car park that was just about large enough. The hotel is fairly secure. I stayed in room 201 on each stay. The room is very spacious. With a small shelf and mirror and stool to get ready, an area to hang clothes with a large drawer, futon, desk area, chair and stool, large bed and the bath room with an overhead shower. The room was clean but definitely tired and is need of repairs and maintenance, especially the bathroom. The fridge in the room also didn’t work but I didn’t realise this until my last night and there was no one at reception to inform in the morning. The hairdryer worked well enough, there were plugs with USB ports. I didn’t use the coffee pods but that felt like a nice touch. I got chocolates on one stay but not the other. There are two pubs, one directly across which is where the Premier Inn has a “meal deal” option, this is handy for those travelling on business and looking to reduce costs on meal expenditure. The hotel served its purpose, it was clean enough and the bed was comfortable but there are clear issues that need to be addressed.

Close to Jnc 13 of the M1 and close to A1. Booked a Premier Plus room which was worth the extra. Great room, nice extra touches and big walk in shower. Breakfast across the car park at Brewers Fayre was good. Staff at both places helpful friendly and informative. Quiet and had a good night's sleep.

Always have a positive experience here. Staff are super friendly and supportive. Free on-site car parking. Good location. Great beds, excellent soundproofing.
