"Good hotel and great location"
I've stayed in many Premier Inns many times but I hadn't been to this one before.
The rooms were as expected for a Premier Inn. They are basic, and a bit tired-looking, but they are fine. I have knocked off a star only because I didn't like the shower in my room. It was one of those basic fixed ones on the wall, which I am not a fan of. I would have liked to have had the option of a handheld shower head. The glass shower screen also didn't go far enough along so the water would go all over the floor every time I had a shower, and there was mould on the wall where it was constantly getting wet. It had been very poorly designed. If I stayed there again, I would probably pay for the more expensive room to hopefully get a better shower.
The customer service on reception was very good - friendly and welcoming.
It seems like they are a little short staffed for cleaners. We successfully had one room clean during our week-long stay, but on one of the other days we asked for fresh towels and the bins to be emptied, despite being out of our rooms for about 6 hours, it didn't get done and we had to chase it when we returned. The response from the staff was very good and professional though - they were very apologetic and sorted fresh towels for us. It was just annoying that it happened when we were tired and wanted to rest in our rooms before going out for dinner.
The breakfast was okay. Compared to other Premier Inns we've stayed at, we didn't enjoy the cooked food as much here. My mum didn't like how they often cooked the tomatoes whole, instead of cutting them in half, so she said they were hard in the middle. On one occasion I had a fried egg and it was almost completely cold so couldn't eat it. The hash browns always seemed overcooked, as they were very hard on the outside, like they'd been sitting there for two hours. But everything else was fine.
The location was fantastic - it was particularly good for getting to the bus station.
Overall, it's a good, basic hotel and I'd recommend it.

"Great Location, great value."
This my second experience of staying at a premier inn and altogether it was a good one.
The location of the hotel right in the heart of St Helier couldn’t be better with cafes, restaurants, bars and shops all within a few minutes walk. The bus station is a five minute stroll as is the St Aubin mini train service. The museum’s, harbour, marina, swimming pools and cinema about ten minutes walk away.
There are lifts from the ground floor entrance to reception on level one and to the other three bedroom levels. The hotel is clean well decorated and welcoming. It has a small but comfortable lounge a large dinning room for breakfast (buffet service) which I thought was very efficient and dinner which is table service. It has an alcohol license and there is a wide selection of alcoholic drinks to have with your dinner.
We had a premium room with those little extras and excellent free WiFi.
It’s a value for money hotel used probably for short stays but we stayed for seven nights and found it to be fine for the longer stays (not a lot of hanging and draw space for the longer periods but we managed ok).
If you want value for money and a great location then I would recommend a stay here.

"One of our favourites"
You always know what to expect at a Premier Inn and our annual visit to this one lived up to those promises. The fantastic, hot sunny weather was a bonus and after weeks at home without A/C it was great to be able to sleep comfortably for 5 nights. It all helped the positive mood! The room was also very quiet with no noisy interruptions. Staff were welcoming and friendly and breakfasts were good. Like many hotels these days, you have to request "room refresh" any day you want it which is a bit of a faff. We're happy to use towels for the duration of a stay and make our own beds but surely emptying the bins and replacing tea/coffee/milk etc every day ought to be standard?

"No room servicing for 3 days"
We have stayed at this hotel on three or four occasions and have been more than happy, however this time our experience was awful. We paid for early check in but the staff had to physically go and check the room was ready even though it was nearer 12pm , the room smelt of unwashed feet , the hairdryer didn't not work and as part of the new room servicing policy we reported the fault the following day and were told the fault would be rectified. Despite asking for our room to be serviced every day at reception and leaving the notice on the room door at no time did anyone enter the room to attend to it. On day two we had to go to reception and ask for clean towels . The shower hair and body wash appeared to be watered down. The staff were distant and lacked motivation, we will not be staying here again but will continue to trust the premier inn brand across other parts of the world.

Good , clean, comfortable hotel in excellent position. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioning throughout was efficient and welcome in a heatwave.
