"A huge disappointment wouldnt stay again"
Walked in up the stairs and they were dirty with rubbish and obviously hadnt been vacuumed in ages. Check in was a shambles. Gone 3pm no rooms had been cleaned so endured a wait. Eventually got a room, to leave a foyer of angry people, and the bathroom was revolting. It smells of damp and is actually mouldy. The ceiling, the walls and around the bath. Also someone elses hair and phlegm on the wall. No point asking to be moved as it would have been 5pm so this or nothing. Location is the absolutely only thing this has going for it.....

"Lovely few days"
Great hotel in the centre of St Helier. Everything is in walking distance, shops on your doorstop, bus station 5 mins walk away, beach and marina less than 10 mins. Overall a great place to stay.

"Loved our stay at this hotel. Location is spot on."
Loved our stay at this hotel. Location is spot on. In town, a 5 min. walk to the main busstation where you can visit all the points of interest on the island. We had a warm welcome by hotel staff. Rooms were good. I had a premier plus room with a fridge and thee/coffe amenities which was nice during my stay. Next to the hotel is Coop Supermarket, which was perfect. The room was clean with airco. Breakfast was also good with enough options for a good start of the day. Breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable stay and would go back to this hotel.

"Great place for a short break"
The hotel is well located for accessing both the town area and the bus station. Staff were unfailingly helpful and polite.

"Good hotel and great location"
I've stayed in many Premier Inns many times but I hadn't been to this one before.
The rooms were as expected for a Premier Inn. They are basic, and a bit tired-looking, but they are fine. I have knocked off a star only because I didn't like the shower in my room. It was one of those basic fixed ones on the wall, which I am not a fan of. I would have liked to have had the option of a handheld shower head. The glass shower screen also didn't go far enough along so the water would go all over the floor every time I had a shower, and there was mould on the wall where it was constantly getting wet. It had been very poorly designed. If I stayed there again, I would probably pay for the more expensive room to hopefully get a better shower.
The customer service on reception was very good - friendly and welcoming.
It seems like they are a little short staffed for cleaners. We successfully had one room clean during our week-long stay, but on one of the other days we asked for fresh towels and the bins to be emptied, despite being out of our rooms for about 6 hours, it didn't get done and we had to chase it when we returned. The response from the staff was very good and professional though - they were very apologetic and sorted fresh towels for us. It was just annoying that it happened when we were tired and wanted to rest in our rooms before going out for dinner.
The breakfast was okay. Compared to other Premier Inns we've stayed at, we didn't enjoy the cooked food as much here. My mum didn't like how they often cooked the tomatoes whole, instead of cutting them in half, so she said they were hard in the middle. On one occasion I had a fried egg and it was almost completely cold so couldn't eat it. The hash browns always seemed overcooked, as they were very hard on the outside, like they'd been sitting there for two hours. But everything else was fine.
The location was fantastic - it was particularly good for getting to the bus station.
Overall, it's a good, basic hotel and I'd recommend it.
