Directions:

Take M4(J42), and then the A483 towards the city centre. After passing Sainsburys on the left and Salubrious Place on the right, turn right at the next lights.Then turn immediately right again. The NCP is adjacent to the cinema and hotel. PLEASE NOTE: No right turn at Wind St from the M4 direction.

"Not too bad overall! ☺️"
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was generally an acceptable stay! ☺️ The hotel itself is pretty dated and could do with a refresh. There are no 'Premier Plus' rooms which clearly evidences how little renovation this hotel has had overall. Our room was clean, pretty spacious and thankfully, really quiet - I had requested a quiet room prior to staying and was glad that the staff honoured our request! 🥰 I didn't want to be on the side directly next to Wind Street over the Bank Holiday so that was well received. The temperature of the shower was only luke warm which was disappointing and the pressure was also pretty weak 😩 The WiFi, as usual, at Premier Inn's was slow and I only use the Ultimate WiFi when it's included as part of purchasing a 'Premier Plus' room as I refuse to pay more for a service which I consider to be a necessity. There is both a Sainsbury's and an Aldi only a few minutes walk from the hotel which was handy, alongside a vending machine in the hotel's reception. We didn't use the restaurant here and I don't think we would if we were to stay here again either as there's plenty of food/drink spots in such close proximity to the hotel 😍 All things considered, we may stay here again as the staff were great ☺️ The night staff less so than the day staff, however!
"Extremely comfortable."
As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by the Clare. She was so welcoming and friendly which was a great way to start my stay. Rooms are big and always clean. Shower was powerful. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Location was good staff were friendly the room was very clean and spacious the wardrobe was roomy, bathroom clean, the bed was comfortable had a good night sleep good choice of breakfast.. would stay again highly recommended
"Never again"
This is a halfway house. The scummy people staying here - absolutely disgusting. Junkies, tramps and chavs. AVOID THIS PREMIER INN. Very disappointing.
"Stay away"
On arrival there was a man outside smoking weed ,after checking in the same man got in the lift with us clearly he must have been there paidfor by the social, smelling of weed and alcohol. Got to the room to be met by a strong smell of weed from the bathroom. Then the following morning while taking to the receptionist a couple kept interrupting us, they were clearly alcoholics by looking at them and the smell of booze at 9am and by the aggressive tone he used.
