"A tough stay"

Location is convient from the airport but I think that about all the hotel has going for it. Having stayed here for 4 years running each room is of the same standard, which is unfortuently poor. I must say the staff are friendly and helpful but it seems they are given very limited resources. The restaurant makeover is dragging its feet so no cooked breakfast avalable and the free breakfast provided is really a shambles, no fruit as the half marathon runnenrs had eaten it all the day before, coffee machiene was filthy, pastries very poor. I was unfortunate enough to stay on the bed made up from the sofa which was so uncomfortable I am still feeling the effect nearly a week after getting home. Overall, just needs a good clean and a good once over of each room, and maybe some new matresses etc

"Dirty and disgusting room"

Due to having to attend the breast clinic for an early appointment and living well over an hour away I booked to stay last night Sunday 8th March at Linwood Paisley to ease the stress of an early commute and battling with morning traffic as I was already nervous and anxious about said appointment. When myself and my husband checked in the reception staff were lovely, however upon accessing the room I used the toilet and the flush was broken, I went down to reception and someone came to have a look and advised we would be moved room….. the room was disgusting! Dust everywhere! I decided to run a bath and my husband wanted a shower, there weren’t any towels in the room so again off I went to reception 🙄 the bathroom was very dated and absolutely filthy! Rust around the plug hole, and deep encrusted filth at the tap, drain and handles, this is not someone just forgetting and giving it a quick wipe this is years of not cleaning properly, I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m aware it’s budget accommodation however standards at minimal it should be clean. I attended my intrusive hospital appointment feeling so dirty and unclean 🤢 when I left this morning there was a huge group being dealt with at reception and I wasn’t able to hang about to discuss my concerns. So disappointed, this room was booked for ease and to take away the stress of travelling to the hospital.
