By Car: From the North: Head east on Queensferry Rd/A90 towards Clermiston Rd N. Continue to follow A90 in the middle 2 lanes to turn slightly right onto Hillhouse Rd/. Bear left onto Craigleith Rd/B900. Continue straight onto Kerr St and onto NW Circus PI. Turn right onto Howe St and left onto Northumberland St. Turn right onto Nelson St and left onto Abercromby PI. Continue straight and turn right onto York Ln From the South: From London Rd/A1, take a slight right onto Norton PI/B1350 and continue straight. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Leith Walk/A900. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Broughton St/B901. Turn right to stay on Broughton St/B901. Turn left onto York Ln and then left at the 1st crossing to stay on York Ln. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

By Tram: The number 100 bus from the Airport will take guests to a stop on South Saint David Street. From this point guests will have to take a short walk up to St Andrew's Square. Then diagonally across the square to North Saint Andrew Street. From this point guests can follow the tram line around to Queen Street and further along is the hotel. In total the walk should take around 5-10 minutes.

There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Alternative parking is available at Q-Park OMNI. Discounted parking must be prebooked through the Q-Park website (q-park.co.uk/en-gb/cities/edinburgh/omni), using the prebook code PIOM40. Please be advised that the car park is withing the citys LEZ zone and uncompliant cars may be fined by City of Edinburgh Council.

"Highly Recommend"
Excellent central location just behind the St James centre. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, food was good & friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value for money, excellent location, very quiet and comfortable beds for our 2 night stay. Tram line outside hotel, 10 min walk into the old town and 5 min walk from the train station.

The room looked quite tired and dated - perhaps time for a refurb. Some of the surfaces were peeling off the vanity unity and side tables, the bath panel was swollen from water damage and the air con panel was cracked and made awful crackling noises when the fans were on. However, the staff are very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Better choice of food for different dietary requirements. Location! A short walk from the train station and sightseeing buses. Tram and other bus stops almost outside the door. It’s also really not far to walk to the shops, cafes/restaurants and the landmarks of Edinburgh.
"Great value in a convenient location."
Conveniently located walking distance from the train station, and just a few blocks from a bus station. Clean room, comfortable bed, enough space to unpack, and store our belongings. Continental breakfast was a good value, and high quality. Friendly and helpful staff.
"A poor experience"
We paid a premium £174 for one night ( due to our circumstances we couldn’t book more than 2 weeks in advance). We were allocated Room 1 - floor-1. On opening the door the stale, musty smell which hit us was awful. We returned to check in and were offered a room on the first floor. The positive was the room was in a quiet location with no road noise. We had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned properly- especially the sink and toilet. There is mould on the bath edging. In the bedroom the laminate surface on the unit is falling off and the bedside table looks as if it is about to fall off the wall. On a more positive note, the staff were friendly and did their best to address our issues. As a tip for future travellers- try elsewhere first and definitely avoid floor -1 Rooms 1 to 15.
