By car: Princes Street is not accessible by car so we advise that you park at the Castle Terrace Car Park (Postcode EH1 2EW). This car park is situated just off Lothian Road (A700). Drive into Edinburgh on the A702, continuing onto the A700 and Castle Terrace is a right hand turn when heading towards the city. Rate of 16 GBP for 24 hours for hotel guests - see reception for ticket validation. On foot: From Castle Terrace turn right onto Lothian Road and then right again onto Princes Street. The hotel is situated in the block just after the junction with South Charlotte Street. The front entrance into the hotel is between Starbucks and Bar & Block.

Parking at Premier Inn Edinburgh City Centre (Princes Street) hotel

There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available at Castle Terrace NCP (EH1 2EW), a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. Charged at £36.00 and discounted at 50% for Premier Inn guests during their stay. Guests need to bring their parking ticket to reception in order to be validated and receive this discount, this is done on departure from the car park.

"Great place to stay in Edinburgh"
Excellent hotel in easy walking distance of all the main sights. Tram stops close by which is a big plus. Great staff, very clean & comfortable room. A great choice for a short stay in Edinburgh.
"Excellent location"
We are very well traveled and quite picky on hotels. This hotel staff was incredible and the location was amazing. The beds were firm, the pillows soft, the bathroom vanity had ample space, and there was an extra vanity in the bedroom. The room was quite small but that’s common for Europe. We had enough room to open our large luggage and 2 carry ons. The AC was also great!

Stayed here for 2 nights, on arrival was greeted by the staff which was very pleasant, given our card keys and made way to our room, spacious room with the view of the castle which was a bonus, when settling into the room we noticed the wallpaper coming away gouges out of the wall painted over, walls could do with a paint and certainly a good dusting in there, went into the bathroom and seen that there was a huge amount of dust on top of the shower pipe, finger prints all over the doors, and also found someone else's socks down behind the settee so that shows it's not checked when cleaning, in house needs to be addressed about the cleaning. Panels coming away from bath and again skirting boards needs painting, the whole place could do with a revamp and bringing back to life. At a cost of £721 for 2 nights which i do find well over priced and for that cost and that reason i would definitely want to stay in a room that was spotless and decorated to a very good standard. On a positive the breakfast in the Bar & Block is lovely and plenty of it, we was greeted by Paul front of house who was friendly, polite and very professional really nice guy, staff is pleasant, friendly and again professional highly recommend the evening meal there aswel, we had steak best steak ever, but best book a table as they get really busy.

The rooms were exceptional and very clean. I expected the rooms to be smaller in a city centre hotel however I found my room to be quite spacious. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

All round excellent. Great location, staff are fantastic can’t do enough. Rooms clean lovely bath and shower. Great breakfast and evening meal. Lovely dining facilities and good drinks list. Have nothing but 5 stars all round. We’ve stayed before and will definitely be back . Big thanks to all the staff team for a great weekend
