"Great staff shame about the parent company"
The staff are amazing and work too hard than they should for a chain that doesn’t respect them. Breakfast was good and rooms was clean. Love the vegan sausages . Restaurant was closed but we were informed just like the previous review by j f who said they weren’t when I know they were via email. So ignore what the previous reviewer put as they don’t bother to check before they arrive. There is no air con as it mentions when you book but there is a lift.
"Disappointing."
Bed comfortable but no air conditioning, no fridge and no bar and restaurant due to it being updated. Wish we could have been informed about this as we would have found somewhere else to stay especially when it cost twice the normal amount for the Saturday to stay.
"Lovely over night stay from Stereophonics concert"
Lovely overnight stay at premier inn. We stayed for the Stereophonics concert. Lovely welcome and we were given a nice keyring. Facilities as expected. Staff excellent. Shout out to Hayley, Lisa, Carly, Lee and Ed. The little touches like snacks and bottles of water were very nice. Lovely setting too by the river. Slept very well and the room was soooo dark! Thanks to

From the minute we arrived all the staff was brilliant they were all friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. Marek was great, top guy he really made us feel welcome and went above and beyond we will stop again soon. Breakfast was great every morning

From arrival to checkout staff have been very friendly and helpful we couldn't be happier with the level of service we received and Marek was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond what we expected he definitely made our stay more enjoyable so thank you Marek (I hope I spelt that correctly) we will definitely be back again soon

Get in on the main event at John Smith's Stadium. Sample student life at Huddersfield University. Or escape the urban hustle and bustle with a stroll around Kirklees Park and Priory. After a busy day, recharge with a delicious meal in the restaurant to the side of us and a great night's sleep in a new, modern room with extra-comfy kingsize bed.
