    "Disappointing"
    I booked two rooms and called the hotel twice after booking to confirm interconnecting rooms for my family with young children. Both times I was reassured, but when we arrived late at night we were given separate rooms. The receptionist was polite and apologetic, but it was disappointing that what had been confirmed in advance was not honored. At breakfast, I also noticed the curtains and air conditioning unit in the dining area were very dirty, which didn’t give a good impression in a space where food is served. I’ve attached pictures for reference.
    "Family stay"
    the young man on reception was helpful and welcoming. Looks nice from the outside. Corridors and bedrooms smell of cigarette smoke really bad so it was unpleasant to have my 2 children there. Other than the smell the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good at the Buffett.
    "Great staff but wheres the air con"
    I really want to give this place 5 stars but the heat of the rooms to the point we couldn't sleep just doesn't warrant it , saying that the staff where amazing and couldn't do enough for us
    "Excellent stay"
    All members of staff were up to Whitbread standards. TY in particular, was a great help in solving an important issue. Hotel is located centrally with easy walking distance to the town centre. Room was clean and spacious with all the basic facilities.
    "Beautiful rooms and smooth check in"
    Beautiful rooms and a smooth check. We are down sadly for a double funeral but have to say the service we received from the hotel and restaurant was fantastic. Jackie and Becky on reception where two very pleasant ladies and made our visit pleasant by acknowledging us when we passed and having a cheery personality Thank you so much for our visit
