Directions:

From the North: From the Southbound A1 take the A167/A696 exit towards Jedburgh/Airport/City Centre. At Kenton Bar Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Ponteland Rd/A167. After 0.2 miles, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue straight across the next roundabout too. At the 3rd roundabout take the 3rd exit and stay on the A167 for 0.4 miles. At Cowgate roundabout take the 1st exit onto A167 and continue for 0.6 miles. Take the exit for A189 towards A1(M) City West. After 0.2 miles turn right onto Grandstand Road (A189)and after 1.5 miles take a slight left on Gallowgate B1311. After 300ft turn onto St Andrews Street and then right onto Stowell Street (China Town). Continue past Rosie's Bar on the right and the Q Park car park is on the left hand side. From the South: From the A1 take the A184 junction to Gateshead/Newcastle (Centre). Continue along the A184 for 1 mile taking a slight right to join the A189, crossing the Redheugh Bridge. Continue along St James' Boulevard for 1.3 miles and turn right at the lights onto the B1311. Continue onto St Andrews Street then take a right onto Stowell Street (China Town). Continue straight and the Q Park car park is on the left hand side. To reach the hotel, turn right at Rosies Bar and right at the Church will bring you to the main entrance on Newgate Street.

"Thank you JACK"
I came in in a bad way very late at night, and Jack at the front desk was so lovely to me. He answered all of my questions, told me where I could get food so late, and helped me extend my stay when I realised I'd be there longer. He did all of this so professionally and so gently, I was shocked to hear he's new. Top tier service, I always find Premier reliable and this is one I'll be returning to.
"Excellent location "
A typical good Premier inn which is in a perfect location for everything. I read a couple of negative reviews about here before coming however I found nothing negative about the hotel. Nothing really to say as it's what you expect from a typical Premier Inn apart from saying that it's in a great spot ideal for everything good friendly staff and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you guys
"In need of a refurb"
Great city and hotel location was fantastic, not far from the train station and shops. The hotel is in need of a refurb but was reasonably priced. Lovely professional staff but had been allocated the wrong room. We had emailed to be on the same floor as my disabled brother but on arrival was allocated a room 2 floors below which was problematic for his night time care. Apparently the hotel did not have a suitable room to move us to. The bedrooms are slightly bigger than other Premier Inns we have stayed in but the cleanliness was not up to the usual standard. The breakfast was better organised though but it could do with more staff to clear the dishes.
"Nice Hotel"
All good except only one towel for two of us and we didn't realise till one came out of the shower and the other went in so not feasible to go down to reception to ask for another one
"Convenient clean hotel"
Excellent central location, easy walking distance from the train station. Rooms and corridors all clean. Our room was facing out onto the main street but was incredibly quite for such a busy location, no noise complaints at all. Friendly staff, from check in to check out all the staff were polite and cheerful. Overall a great location!
