Directions:

From the North: From the Southbound A1 take the A167/A696 exit towards Jedburgh/Airport/City Centre. At Kenton Bar Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Ponteland Rd/A167. After 0.2 miles, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and continue straight across the next roundabout too. At the 3rd roundabout take the 3rd exit and stay on the A167 for 0.4 miles. At Cowgate roundabout take the 1st exit onto A167 and continue for 0.6 miles. Take the exit for A189 towards A1(M) City West. After 0.2 miles turn right onto Grandstand Road (A189)and after 1.5 miles take a slight left on Gallowgate B1311. After 300ft turn onto St Andrews Street and then right onto Stowell Street (China Town). Continue past Rosie's Bar on the right and the Q Park car park is on the left hand side. From the South: From the A1 take the A184 junction to Gateshead/Newcastle (Centre). Continue along the A184 for 1 mile taking a slight right to join the A189, crossing the Redheugh Bridge. Continue along St James' Boulevard for 1.3 miles and turn right at the lights onto the B1311. Continue onto St Andrews Street then take a right onto Stowell Street (China Town). Continue straight and the Q Park car park is on the left hand side. To reach the hotel, turn right at Rosies Bar and right at the Church will bring you to the main entrance on Newgate Street.

"Premier Inn Newcastle City Centre"
Stayed at this hotel for a football game at St James Park. Real central location. The stadium is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was nice & clean, with the usual comfy bed. Aircon not brilliant, could have done with being a little more powerful. The breakfast was lovely, couldn't fault it and the staff were very engaging when we went down to eat. To say its in the centre of Newcastle, its very quiet and bar being a bit warm due to the poor aircon, we had a peaceful nights sleep. Would definitely go again
"Comfy bed and pillows!"
I stayed two nights. Location wise, it’s right in the city centre near everything but well soundproofed…. I didn’t hear a thing either night (and I’m a light sleeper). The bed and pillows were really comfy. The room was spacious and laid out well. The breakfast was nice and the staff were all really kind and helpful (especially the lady cooking the breakfast each day). I arrived early so was able to store my luggage for the day before checking in later that evening!
"Co-op Hotel"
This was a trip down memory lane for us - this Premier Inn has been tastefully created from Newcastle's Co-op building built in 1880 retaining the character of that period. Pre - arrival requirements were efficiently met, the room character, quality and functionality were excellent.
"Family Friendly"
Family friendly, room was very clean. Staff were amazing would definitely stay again. Brilliant location as we had theatre tickets nearby.
"Super hotel break"
An excellent one night stay which was a bargain as it included breakfast. We received a warm welcome from the knowledgeable Receptionist. The room was clean and super quiet. The bed was very comfy. The hotel is well located for exploring Newcastle and only 10 minutes walk from the train station. There was a good choice of items for breakfast and everything tasted delicious.
