Silverstone hotel

Convenient, easy to find, and always a friendly face, a warm welcome and a story to tell when Soxy is on the front desk… not to mention the easy parking! :)

I stayed at the hotel over the weekend and wanted to say how professional the staff is at the hotel, I was checked in by a lady called Soxy who was amazing, friendly and made me very welcoming, I had breakfast the following morning which was excellent and the staff member Kasia was remarkably helpful, I would definitely stay again

We recently stayed at this hotel whilst attending the Formula 1 due to the close proximity to the circuit. After leaving the event, we drove around from road closure to road closure for over 3 hours, before being told by a police officer that the agreed diversion which enabled access to the hotel had been closed as the hotel had agreed to allow the carpark to be used for shuttle buses to turn around. Given we paid almost 10x the standard room rate (£364.00 per night) specifically for the location, this completely negated any benefit in staying here and not at any point did staff mention there would be no access to the hotel until after 8pm. When I provided this feedback I was essentially told it’s not their problem. Aside from this, the staff were not welcoming, there is no lift so not helpful if you have luggage, and the rooms were extremely hot; it was cooler outside than it was in the room as there was no aircon and the windows hardly open.

Me and my friends go here for an annual car show at Silverstone....but this year it was appalling... A member of staff on his mobile sorting a personal problem with his mobile phone while guests are waiting to be checked in...truly the high of unprofessionalism as your first point of contact for your stay.
