"Worst nights sleep ever"
Check in very slow due to lack of staff. Room ok. Fire doors were propped open. Fire alarm went off 7 times on 6th July. We all got dressed the first time expecting to have to leave the building and the fire brigade to arrive. Nothing happened so went back to bed and this happened persistently throughout the night. The manager came on at 6.30 am and reset the system however in doing this she set the alarm off a few more times. Worst nights sleep we’ve ever had
"Great location. Walking distance for all the tourist parts."
The hotel location is very good indeed. (Handy Tesco next door!). Premier Inn standard hotel, what you'd expect. Car parking is local, so expect a short walk. I found the staff helpful and engaging. Remember, this is a Hen and Stag party capital, Friday and Saturday nights will be rocking. This hotel sits just outside Concert Square (very popular), although I had no street noise or any distance humm of late night noise. In fact, I had the very best of 2 nights' sleep. The seagulls squarking at all hours was worse than the party revellers, but that's not the hotels fault!! Recommended.
"Very disappointed will not be returning"
We booked for 3 night, payed for premier plus room. We had to ask for clean towels every day. Also had to go down for coffee, milk etc and it should have been filled up daily. On the second day our key card has been deactivated even though we had another night. I asked Abdul about it. As he was seeing to it, my friend came and stood next to me. He raised his voice to her telling her to get to the end of the queue.she said she was with me. He also was very abrupt and nasty to a young lad in front of us. We were the woken by fire alarm going off at 3.30 in the morning apparently due to an on going fault. Then at 4 and again at half 4. £428 for having to get our own towels every morning, fill our own refreshments up, being spoken to Rudy. And having no sleep on the last night
"Good location, bad housekeeping practices."
Stayed here for the Dua Lipa concert, and was in a prime location both for being picked up to be taken to Anfield and walking back from the bus drop-off point after the concert, the room was also quiet considering its location on a busy street. Staff were friendly and helpful, however we did have to pay for early check-in due to a lack of baggage storage due to the concert. The room was cool and the bathroom was adequate, was worth the money for a one night stay but probably wouldn't return if we were to do a city break here. However when my friend was going to get into her bed, she found human stains on the duvet, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this standard and we had to leave the room at 1am to find someone to change the duvet after inadequate housekeeping prior, which made the nights sleep feel uncomfortable.
"Great city hotel option"
We can on a short city break, 2 adults a teen and child in a quad family room. I book with Premier Inn for consistency. As we hoped, the room was modern and clean with very comfortable beds, a good sized tv and plenty of sockets and USB outlets. I've read about issues with aircon but we had no problem, which was handy because it was hot. The breakfast was good value for money as kids eat free with a paying adult. We had an issue with keycards which was sorted promptly and I needed gluten free bread etc at breakfast. Staff were super in general. This hotel is perfectly located for for city centre attractions as the museums, cinema, shopping, restaurants and Albert Dock are within walking distance.
