"A shadow of what Premier Inn used to be"
Ruined by cost cutting and bean counting. The bed was nice, at least, but there was mould in the bathroom and the shower rationed water. The restaurant was a joke. Most of the menu was generic and premade, food took ages, it was hard to get a drink in the bar because one staff member was doing the bar, cleaning tables, taking orders and bringing food. All in the shell of a pub. You had to be in the restaurant to order food, you couldn't order to the bar, but you can't book a table online before your stay either. Put your money to an independent hotel. It can't be much worse than this, and the chances are it'll be much better.
    "Jannine the Queen!"
Jannine customer service was absolutely exceptional. She made us feel welcome and she looked after us as if she was one of our own.
    "Bad Brewers Fayre"
Went into the Brewers fayre at 1755 on 21/8/2025. Asked what time they served food they said 1800. But was told couldn't fit me in till 1900/1930. There was one person in there and about 10 vehicles. I was absolutely discusted in the service from the person that spoke to me. This is the 2nd time had a bad experience with a Brewers Fayre the last time the meal was an hour late , cold and disgusting. So guess what i will not be using a Brewers Fayre again
    "Bathroom needs improving!"
Bathroom. No handrail. No bath mat. Lights flickering on and off the entire time my partner was showering. He is not steady on his feet and he couldve easily slipped or fell in the shower as lights werent working. Bed was okay couldve had another pillow. Fan was good kept the room cool the entire time we was there. Wifi never worked on phone. Food was okay could've been a little hotter. The waitress we had was lovely and very pleasant.
    "Cheerful, welcoming and efficient"
Excellent service at breakfast from Jannine today. She was cheerful, welcoming and efficient.A great start to the day.
