    "Could do better"
Everything was ok, however our first morning with two children saw no hot water when showering. A Cold shower for myself was not a deal breaker but the kids refused to get in. There were two fans in the room however when we tried to switch them on in the 29degree room only one was working. We ran out of loo roll and when I requested more the receptionist said ok I’ll sort it the loo roll never arrived. I asked for an Iron and board to iron clothes again this took quite a while to transpire. We ran out of Tea and milk when I went to reception again the receptionist said they would have more the next morning. The stay was ok but all these little things marred what could have been a nice stay
"Stay at the other premier inns close by"
I'd like to start by saying I have stayed at many Premier Inns and always happy with my experience. You get what you pay for. Clean, tidy, comfortable bed, good breakfast and cheap. Croxley Green was the worst one I have stayed at. There is no air con and the corridors are so hot. Each room has a fan but it does nothing. It was only 20 degrees and cloudy when we were there so not particularly hot. People were even propping their doors open just to get a bit of air flow. Then we asked reception at 10am for an ironing board to iron our shirts before a wedding. We asked whether we could have it soon because we needed to leave at midday.....They said yes but no sign of the board at 1130am. Luckily our friend had got one the night before so we took theirs. The ironing board had a metal piece sticking out which ripped a hole in my shirt that I needed for the wedding! Even once we were ready for the wedding we couldn't put our clothes on until last minute because it was so hot. Pros - The breakfast was good like other premier inn's.
    "Mugged Off"
My experience was very poor in fact this was my worst experience with Premier Inn ever. So much so that you've lost me as a customer. I ordered a double room and found my room was a double with another two singles crammed in. The room was rediculously hot with a note on the table reminding customers that this property didn't have air conditioning. No fridge so you couldn't have a cold drink then on the first night when we returned at 10:05 for a drink to find the bar closed at 10:00. This is not a £120 a night property in a million years and the prices were souped in in order to cash in on the Oasis concert. I was mugged. So much so that last night I booked a hotel for a Christmas Party in December and have booked with the Leonardo. They are go go to hotel chain. Over the years either personally or through the company I work for I have spent tens of thousands of pounds with Premier Inn however from now on they really have lost me as a customer. Absolutely Dreadful.
    "Rooms are unbearably hot"
The rooms where unbearably hot even with the window open to as far as it’s allowed and the 1 fan supplied spent our time in the lobby or bar as they had air conditioning

Lovely hotel. Very clean and friendly obliging staff. The food was good and nicely cooked. One evening we were very late but the staff were still happy to make us dinner. The only criticism I have is that the rooms don’t have air con so were excessively hot. It was like walking into a sauna. The window was open and a fan had been placed in the room but it was still ridiculously hot. This meant that we just couldn’t sleep and sweated all night. Definitely would not recommend going in the summer unless you’ve just returned from 40degree heat. Sadly not up to premier inn Standard.
