"Dirty, grimey and unhygienic"
Very unclean and unhygienic. Grime and stains on the bed/sofa thing. Bath and toilet grimey. Carpark full of litter. Staff not very helpful, but that could be because there was 1 person running the desk and the bar o.people were left waiting Body wash wasn't refilled, room insanely unventilated,
"Reception Staff very helpful "
Jax and Tara were both very helpful and even reminded me that I needed to register my car for the car parking as I forgot to do this on arrival. Saved me getting a parking ticket. They were both genuinely smiley and courteous .Working in front of house and restaurant can be challenging, you could tell that they care about their job. I asked for their names so that the Premier Inn heirachy recognises people like this within the business . 👍
"Hotel"
Friendly staff. Great sleep. Good selection for breakfast and tasted delicious. Close to the old town took about 15 minutes to walk to local pubs and bars. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
"Service with a smile "
Premier Inn good night promised delivered. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left the hotel staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The Manager Tara, made sure that our stay was comfortable. We have a son with autism and sometimes the initial welcome and interaction with staff can make our overnight stays fraught. Warm welcomes and empathy made our son relaxed and very happy. The hotel and restaurant were very clean and we all slept well. We will be back again. We'll done Tara and the team!
"Great value hotel with friendly, helpful staff"
Great hotel in this chain for a short stay. The usual decor, facilities etc found in a standard Premier Inn room. Although a little tired in places needing a repaint, everything was clean, comfortable and the room was fairly quiet even with the window open. Our TV remote didn't work - the guy on reception tried everything he could to fix this and help but with no success. Not a big deal as the TV can be operated in the old-fashioned way with buttons on the monitor! Breakfast is now in a small area within the hotel (I think they had converted some previous bedrooms). This is because the adjoining pub is now closed. Although a little crowded, the breakfast area was adequate and served the usual Premier Inn offerings. Staff throughout the hotel were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Given the low price-point, a great experience and would recommend.
