"Premier Inn can no longer market themselves on a good night's sleep."
This Premier Inn has changed it's bed sizes and no longer provides comfortable beds that promote a good night's sleep. Firstly, it is helpful to know that all their 6ft beds have been changed for standard double beds, as confirmed by hotel reception staff. I booked a twin room and was expecting both beds to be at least standard width of 3ft and normal height for an adult. This was not the case. One of the beds was a small 2ft 6 inch bed, low to the ground. Suitable only for a child. I queried whether or not I had been given a twin room or a family room, as the other bed was a standard double. The receptionist confirmed that all of their twin rooms had one small bed, as described. In addition to the size, the mattress was soft and unsupportive and the bed sloped down on one side. The room was clean and quiet.
    "Rundown but good location"
Great location for us. Staff very good always. The hotel is tired. Some room facilities do not work. Needs a refurb. Bed comfortable.
"Great staff shake the hotel needs some TLC"
Staff friendly & welcoming, lots of parking, breakfast great choice all fresh & hot! Room smelt funny and felt damp, mould in bathroom! Had a fan in room which was broken! Window didn’t open!
    "Disappointing"
Two night stay as a base for a concert at Wembley. It's a good location around 1 mile from the railway station. Walkable but also easy to get an Uber. We had two rooms which we felt were well below the standard you would expect from a Premier Inn. One smelt of damp from the bathroom, which affected the bedroom, even with the door closed. The other was run down with several marks and small ruts on the walls. The toilet flush button was also faulty which meant it would not always refill. As a result we switched rooms after the first night, as you could hear running water as it tried to refill. For both rooms, fans were provided as there is no air conditioning, but these had minimal effect. Opening the windows also had little impact. Staff were very friendly on reception and advised fans were provided when we checked in. We had breakfast on the second day and it was very good with a selection of hot and cold options. Staff here were also friendly and helpful. Overall we were disappointed and it is definitely in need of refurbishment including the addition of air conditioning. For what we paid we expected more given our experience of other Premier Inn locations.
"Family break ruined by unlivable room temperature"
I stay in Premier Inns weekly for work, so I know what to expect but this family stay was dreadful. Our family room with two young teens was unbearably hot, with three fans blasting and the window wide open. We still spent the night sweating, and nothing could be done. This is not acceptable. If Premier Inn can’t keep rooms at a reasonable temperature, they shouldn’t be advertising them for families. The staff were apologetic but completely powerless to help. Until this serious issue is fixed, I would strongly warn others against staying here. A very disappointing experience.
