"Poor experience"
Location was good, Decor a little tired, only one lift working and it was never cleaned during our stay. Major problem was the high temperature of our room. Air conditioner not working and management tried a reset but unable to help further. Room was so unbearably hot we could not sleep for two nights and as a result left a day early. Parking on site quite expensive and very narrow spaces but ok. Not easy to get hold of front desk staff. Disappointing overall.
"Staff friendly and helpful, hotel dated and feels overpriced."
Hotel booked to be a staging post to drop daughter to Heathrow on her first big faraway trip and a day out at Kew Gardens. Well positioned for both. Our room was a Premier Plus room. So a few extras over and above a standard room but I don’t think it’s worth it and will not book again. The Premier Plus rooms are on the top floor and like other rooms at the hotel have air conditioning units. Our stay was during a hot spell at the end of June 2025 but the air conditioning unit was wholly inadequate, not helped by Premier Inn locking the lowest temperature to 19 degrees centigrade; the room never got anywhere that cool during our stay. This is really disappointing because this one detail is likely to put us off Premier Inns in the future. Food offering was the usual Premier Inn offering. Staff in the restaurant were helpful when dealing with a food allergy.
"Excellent stay"
Excellent premier plus room for a one night stay. - Easy check in - The room was very clean - We slept well with minimal traffic noise (very good for London). - The air conditioning kept us cool in the heatwave! - Plenty of parking in underground car park
"So good before, disappointed this time."
Usually a gem of a find but this time was disappointing. We have stayed here the last 3 years while attending the rugby final at Twickenham. I have said in reviews in the past how good the stay was and how pleased we were with the service we received. This year was a disappointment by comparison. The hotel is very clean and in general of a high standard. We opted for a premier plus room this time for the extra space and the couple extra amenities this allows (Coffee Machine, Bottled Water, More space) Sadly the bed sheets had blood stains on one side of the bed, the shower gel dispenser did not work, and the toilet was not cleaned properly. These were our main complaints but as with everything when you notice something you notice everything. It would be unnecessary to mention niggling small things and to be fair they did not impact our stay. The reception is a bug bare as we could not find anyone to ask for the room to be serviced and would have missed the event we were attending if we had waited around any longer, i just hid the blood marks from my wife so she didn't know i was sleeping on them. The room was nice but little things took the shine off having paid the extra money. Breakfast quality has definitely gone down with the quality of the food not being as good as it has been in previous stays here or in many other premier inn. The scrambled eggs were watery, the black pudding was sloppy and fried eggs were brought out 4 at a time to hotel fully booked with rugby fans. None of our party managed to time this right so can not comment on there quality. The coffee machine was continuously running out of space, milk or coffee and the two gentlemen trying to contend with all this were doing their best but they fell short. On a positive it is worth the extra money for how quiet it is on the top floor with nobody above stamping about. The hotel has been great in the past and while we were less than jubilant about this years stay, we will no doubt stay with premier in again. We have always been satisfied previously and standards are something that premier inn always does very well at. I hope this is an isolated incident and will not let it jade my opinion at present.
"Worst stay"
First room we was given was so dirty, we got moved to another room to which air conditioning wasn't working. I asked for a fan to be told none was available so none of us as a family of 4 had a good night's sleep due to room being far to hot. We was lucky to get 3 hrs sleep. Front entrance was clean but lift area was very dirty.
