"Would not recommend"
I read a lot of positive reviews on this hotel before staying, so I wanted to add mine to save someone the disappointment we had. I stayed at 7 different European hotels and this one was the worst. The only good thing about this hotel is the location to the London Eye and other landmarks across the bridge. To check in, they require you use a kiosk that doesn’t work. After wasting time with that, an employee will then help you. Happened to us and everyone else I saw checking in. Was then told if we need anything to come back down to the lobby because they aren’t reachable by phone. There was a constant line of people needing help whenever I walked through lobby, probably due to not being able to call from the room. The room was tiny, which is normal for Europe. But it also doesn’t include any shampoo or washcloths and they’re very stingy with towels. Our room had a tub/shower combo with very tall sides. Very hard to get in and out of and very slippery. I feared for my safety getting in and out of that thing. Our bathroom fan didn’t work and the room got steamy and musty. But the bathroom door shuts automatically so we had to prop a trash can in the door to let steam out. Didn’t work well with a round trash can so the door was constantly slamming shut. Asked to have the fan looked at but they never did. Made our whole room feel musty and gross. Breakfast was horrible, glad I didn’t pay ahead for all the mornings we stayed. WiFi was bad, constantly got kicked out. If you have luggage, be prepared to drag it up about 20 steps to the front door because they don’t have a ramp or elevator to get in. Just an overall bad experience for the cost. After checking into our next hotel we felt instant relief with less stress.
"Excellent location, clean, and nice staff"
The location is the main attraction for this hotel. It was a basic room, but spacious with good storage options, which we did not have in our previous hotel in England. Everything was very clean, and the staff were all very nice. You couldn't be more centrally located to several popular attractions, two underground stations, and tons of dining locations. The only small con is that they oversell the comfort of the bed. It was a basic hotel mattress, which was very firm for our personal preference, but they make a huge deal about it being the most comfortable mattress, which is just too subjective of a thing to try to guarantee. It was just fine. Otherwise we highly recommend this hotel and location.
"Perfect Location"
We have stayed here before & chose this hotel for its ideal location. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely male member of staff. We were there early, but he was able to check us in early, which was a bonus. The room was a decent size, very clean & had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The beds were really comfortable & we had a good nights sleep. The view out the window wasn’t great but we weren’t in the room that much anyway. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice & always well stocked. All the staff were very friendly & courteous. The only negative was it was looking a bit tired in places, some of the chairs in the bar area were a bit threadbare. If you fancy a late night, the bar is now open until 3am!
"Very good room. Not so good Hotel"
The best of this hotel is the size of the familly room and the excellent sound insulation of the rooms. The locations is very good too. But, in my opinion, and HOTEL should have a proper reception. Anyway we have just spent four days here and everything went well.
"Good stay"
Great location. Good and clean and spacious room Breakfast wasn’t a bit disappointing Staff really friendly and chatty. They made for a nice atmosphere
