"Disappointing"
This hotel is in need of a refurb . It is not like the usual standard you get from a premier inn . The first room I was offered stunk … I could not even explain what the smell was but they moved me to another room which was better . Very poor standard of Maintainance and cleanliness . I did remark to the receptionist they needed better cleaning staff. Bathrooms very old and dated lots of mould and limescale on the taps . Also you have to ask for your room to be serviced . I did that this morning at 10.00 and got back from a trip at 13.00 and the room was not serviced . It will be interesting to see is that gets done . My parents have an access room … despite booking weeks in advance they did not locate us on the same floor ! Breakfast was ok better on the Friday with attentive staff but Saturday disappointing … very slow at replenishing the hot food . All in all I would not recommend staying here until considerable refurbishment has been undertaken . One of the receptionists was very helpful to us

The staff - what few there are there now - are very pleasant, but service in the restaurant is poor - with the exception of Tommie, who tried his best (and always does). He appeared to be the only one working when I had my evening meal; he did apologise that I had to wait 45 mins after ordering, which is an unacceptable time to wait. My room was ok - a bit shabby, and very dated, but the bed was comfortable and the air con worked.
"Needs a facelift"
Stayed here as we were attending a funeral nearby. The room was OK. A bit dark but plain & simple. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was tired & dated with a shower curtain & lots of limescale on the taps & shower. The shower was quite weak & it was a big step up into the shower/bath, so a big step down, getting out. Wouldn't be suitable for anyone with balance or mobility issues. We went to breakfast & there was nobody there to greet us so we wandered down to the buffet area. The cooked food was all laid out but didn't look very appetising. We then hesrd someone appear behind the counter to take our room number. We opted for fruit, yoghurt & a very claggy blueberry muffin. The seats were covered in crumbs & the table felt sticky. The carpet looked grubby as well. It's in a good position for visiting town with lots of shops, bars, restaurants etc. If they did a bit of a refurb & kept the restaurant cleaner, it would be fine.
"Connecting door between rooms - big noise problem"
Spent two nights in June 2025. Positive - very close walking distance to Bexleyheath Shopping Centre and buses. More negatives - our room had a locked connecting door to the next room. We were unfortunate enough to have a couple of alcoholic junkies next door. They were awake all night screaming, shouting, fighting and having loud sex!! With the connecting door we could hear everything which is why I can say that they were (ex?) junkies. I complained to reception about 0430 but they didn't contact the room occupants. When asked the reception staff did offer to move our room but we stayed in the end as the neighbours checked out. If you get a room with a connecting door and are unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours you'll need ear plugs. The restaurant, which used to be open to the public and is now exclusively for hotel guests, is not recommended. The breakfast was very average with empty food trays not replenished quickly enough and the food being dry and overcooked. We intended to have dinner there but half the menu was off so we went to one of the other restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Parking is chargeable at a NCP underneath the hotel so convenient but a bit pricey. I felt that the hotel was overpriced - for a few pounds more we stayed the next night in a Radisson Blu which was vastly superior in all aspects. Premier Inn Bexleyheath very well located for the centre of Bexleyheath but rooms (especially the noise problem) and the restaurant well below par.
"Good nights stay, very happy overall!"
I was greeted by Sam who was bubbly, helpful and informative. Sam checked me in swiftly and without any issues. The hotel general areas were clean and tidy. My room was also clean and smelt fresh. The bed was comfortable, the room was very quiet so we had a great nights sleep. All in all a good nights stay, at a great price.
