"Bathroom disappointment"
Sadly found the bathroom disappointing- a glass unsealed box in the small room. But a good night’s sleep. Just wouldn’t recommend for couples.
"Comfortable and pleasant"
Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms compact but stylish and comfortable. Great breakfast (extra, but terrific value)
"Bad check in, bad bed position"
The checkin was TERRIBLE. There were two machines, neither of which were working, and ONE very harassed young lady, who was doing her best to cope with the 15 people waiting. When we finally got to our room, we found that one side of the bed was up against the wall, making it impossible for one of us to get out of bed without climbing over the other!! At 78 years old, this is nigh on impossible for me!! The rest of the experience was ok, with very friendly staff and what looked like a good breakfast, although we didn't partake. The tea and coffee (free!!) Were both plentiful and a good selection....
"Don't overlook the bus"
We found it a little difficult to find the hotel initially, because of the way Farringdon Road is numbered. However, it's really conveniently situated for ease of getting into central London. The room could have done with being a little cleaner, as it was quite dusty. A towel rail would also have been useful. The breakfast was great. Made it so easy to make the most of the day. All in all, good price for a London stay. Would stay again and make more of the 146 bus!
