"Rather mediocre Premier Inn"
We often choose Premier Inns for their consistency and fair value. This hotel was OK but not great. Convenient car parking, comfortable beds, clean bathroom as expected but bedroom and bathroom smelled stale although not visibly mouldy. On arrival, the reception staff were pleasant enough and helpful but we stayed 4 nights and other reception staff hardly ever even acknowledged us. The exception was a friendly person greeting us in the dining room each morning. The hotel feels ready for some TLC, especially the paved outdoor eating area which looked never swept of cigarette butts.
"Overall "Quite Good" but disappointing breakfast"
The room was what we expected; clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable...we both had a great night's sleep. We'd got in late from visiting Wimbledon and, although a very limited menu (not like the previous Beefeater menu), the Chicken Makhani and Chicken Katsu were a very welcome late night meal. Where Premier Inn  Chessington really fell down was on the breakfast. Considering Premier Inn used to pride itself on its breakfasts, this one wasn't good with dried bacon, eggs, beans and mushrooms. When we asked for fresh items, they still turned up dry and overcooked Overall, the stay was ok and, on the balance of things, we'd probably return, but the disappointing breakfast brought the ratings right down.
"Worst premier inn ever"
Stayed here due to the locality for chessington. But have to say it was the worst premier inn ive stayed in. We always book premier inn as we k own the beds are usually comfy... not this hotel. Rock solid. And the noise levels were ridiculous! I actually had to call reception on the 2nd night to ask them to go to the room above us and tell th to be quiet. There just seemed to be constant banging all times of the day. Due to this and the beds I got a total of about 5 hours sleep over 2 nights. Also no plug for the bath, so a bath was out of the question. And the plugs either side of the double bed were broken. Wouldn't stay again! Didn't eat here due to bad reviews
"Rather disappointing"
Ideally located for Chessingtons World of Adventure. The room was clean and beds was comfortable, the TV had no signal on nearly all the channels. The bathroom needs refurbishing, there was rust on the curtain rail and needs a proper walkin shower. The room was very warm and the aircon unit was weak. We paid for a meal deal but after the 1st night found the evening meal food was disgusting, oven chips with the over cooked fish and very little choice on the menu for adults. It was so bad we sacked off the evening meal and walked 20mins up the road to The Shy Horse Inn and restaurant where the food was stunning. The premier inn breakfast was OK, but has had better breakfasts in other premier inns. One good point was free ice water in the reception.
"Great location, poor stay."
On arrival the hotel appeared clean and tidy but once in The room we found it was dirty, travel cot was dirty, door in room was sticky, tv was dusty. The restaurant cooked breakfast was warm and not hot and the toilets in restaurant were dirty and needed cleaning. I hope they can find cleaners to do the cleaning to a higher standard. Safe to say we won't be staying here again.
