We stayed the 18th departing on the 20th July 2025. The room was expected. However the staff, Charlie on the reception and all of the staff in the breakfast room were exceptional. They are all professional, friendly and very helpful they are a credit to the hotel
"What you would expect of a Premier Inn"
A cheerful welcome in this quiet Premier Inn, ideal for our visit. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and there were good facilities. It was during the hot weather and fans were provided which helped.
"Airport Stop Off"
Cant go wrong with a Premier Inn! Stayed for one night on the way to the airport. Check in was easy and staff friendly, nice comfy bed and all the mod cons (tea / coffee) - English TV. Only downside was the continental breakfast was a bit on the weak side as not many pastries available and had to wait for some to be cooked. However the chef was lovely and got this organised.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a local, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Premier in Braintree several times for breakfast — and I can confidently say it never disappoints. The staff are absolutely amazing: warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile. The food is fantastic and great quality, excellent value for money. It’s become my go-to spot for breakfast in the area, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, tasty start to the day.

Bag some bargains at the Premier Inn Hotel Braintree Freeport Village - peacefully situated just over half a mile from Freeport Designer Village. We're the same distance from the Freeport Train Station with fast links to Stansted Airport and Greater London. Business guests are also well placed here. Retail might be less on your mind though if you're on the guest list at wedding venues The Fennes, Gosfield Hall and Leez Priory. Or if you fancy history at Hedingham Castle or some outdoor fun at Great Notley Country Park. Whatever brings you to Braintree, enjoy all the comforts you'd expect including an onsite restaurant, a spacious room and a comfy bed.
