    Directions:

    From the North: On the M60, exit at J24 onto the M67. Follow the M67 onto the A57 towards Sheffield. At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A6016. After 1.5 miles turn right onto the A624. After 6 miles, at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A6 and continue to the A623 towards Chesterfield. At the next junction turn right onto the B6465 and back onto the A6. Continue for 9 miles and the hotel will be on the left. From the South: Exit M1 at J26 and follow the A610 towards Ripley. Follow this road all the way to Ambergate and turn right at the T-junction for the A6. Follow the A6 for 8 miles. Go through Matlock Town Centre continuing to follow the A6. When you see the sign for the Arc leisure centre, turn right and the hotel will be in front of you.

    "Good Premier Inn"
    Very good Premier Inn, rooms clean, staff all efficient & friendly especially Tammy & Dawn in the restaurant also Russel in evenings very helpful. Great food evenings & breakfast. Good location easy walk into Matlock & bus stop outside to Bakewell.
    "Excellent stay"
    Only stayed 1 night but could not have wished for better accommodation from Premier. The location is handy, both the meal deal meals were excellent and Room clean and spacious. The main thing about this Hotel is ALL the staff who are very friendly and helpful especially the young lady TAMMY who seemed to go up and beyond with excellent customer service with a genuine smile. The only downside I had being a Beer drinker was the Bar not being well stocked but they are limited for space(made do with Lager),will definitely stay again.

    Fantastic service from Dan and the team at Matlock Premier Inn! On a stay for work, we were well looked after by the friendly, helpful team, in the clean and well-maintained hotel. In particular, Dan was of great help after I left my Kindle in my bedroom, and only discovering this after I'd returned home. He suggested how I could best get it returned, and reassured me it was well looked after in the safe. I've now got it back thanks to Dan and the team.

    We stayed here to visit the chatsworth country fair. Less than 20min drive. Easy to find. Ample parking. Excellent food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Comfy and clean.
    "Hit and miss"
    Food service very slow in the evening (1 hour wait) however the food was super yummy when it arrived. Steak was cooked perfect (1 rare and 1 medium rare) pizza was lovely as was the Korean chicken burger. A few negatives. We stayed in room 211 and it appears that house keeping forgot to check under the single bed as the previous family had left biscuits, breadsticks, and alien crisps under it (around 6 in total). Bed were super comfy, air-conditioning only goes down to 19 which i suppose is normal but the room was a little too hot for us but we like it cold so its more of a preference. Could have done with a few extra pillows but we didn't ask so can't complain really. Staff really friendly. Lift still not working no notification before arrival, however there is staff to help should you need any.

    If you're planning a trip to the Peak District or have business in Derbyshire, you're guaranteed a great night's sleep in our Matlock hotel. On the edge of town and less than a mile from the train station, Premier Inn Matlock is only a couple of miles from the Victorian spa resort of Matlock Bath. Today, the Peak District Mining Museum and Heights of Abraham country park bring visitors to the area. After a day of fresh air and activity, have dinner at Thyme then relax in one of our new-generation bedrooms each featuring an impressive 40" flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with a large shower head and slumber-inducing, king-size bed.
