Directions:

From M6 (J40), take the A66 East signposted for Brough. At the next roundabout take the first exit towards Penrith onto Bridge Lane (A6). At the first set of traffic lights bear left onto Southend Road. Follow the road round to the left and then turn right at the mini-roundabout into New Squares. The hotel will be directly in front.

"Fabulous welcoming friendly staff"
Always warm and welcoming at Premier Inn Penrith. Good access to lakes and surrounding beautiful countryside. Clean rooms and great local places to eat. Phoebe on reception and her team are very knowledgeable about the local area..... If you're in Penrith it's a great base to be from...
"Superb"
Phenomenal service nice and quiet, rooms are looking a bit worn round the edges but very clean, best greeting I have had at any premier inn. Didn't eat but the food looked great. Only down side is car parking is a bit tricky if the shops busy. Stephan and Phoebe you are heros and saved us from a very very long drive home. Resolving a booking issue very quickly and positively with a good kind demeanour. Thank you again
"Best for Family Holiday"
The room we had was great for a family of four. One of the largest we have seen in UK. Great little restaurant and special Thanks go to Phoebe for helping me to get the best out of meal deal. Very helpful in sharing information about local attractions as well. Located in a nice area as well. A great spot to if you are planning to book your next holiday. We are looking forward to come here again for our next holiday.

Been coming since last October due to work the staff are amazing they make you so welcome it's like home from home I would recommend this hotel Phoebe is one of the late shift staff such a brilliant and welcoming person Erica and elwyn are usually the early morning staff they are also 2 lovely people always there to help you out the new manager Stephen has only been here a short while but has fitted in so well such a lovely bloke Nothing is to much for these staff and the rooms are also clean and tidy so we'll done to housekeeping as this is not an easy job
"Nice hotel- wish the air con was better!!"
Had a good stay at the Premier Inn Penrith. Parking is very convenient with Sainsburys just next door. The rooms were clean and well presented. Our biggest issue was with the lack of opening windows and air con restricted to 19c. This meant the room was extremely stuffy and hard to breathe at points!

Hotel description

With the Lake District National Park a mere six miles away who wouldn't want to stay at Premier Inn Penrith? Our new- generation bedrooms each featuring an impressive 40" flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with a large showerhead and slumber inducing bed are the ultimate place to unwind after a hard day's hiking. Not forgetting a well deserved dinner at our on-site restaurant. Penrith itself has plenty to offer. Brougham Castle and Penrith Castle will please history enthusiasts. Or take a walk up to Penrith Beacon to take in the spectacular views. If you've left the car at home, you'll be pleased to know that Penrith North Lakes train station is a short walk from our Penrith hotel too.
