"Great visit"
Great stay. Team are friendly and nothing too much trouble. Lift was out of order but was informed prior and we were able to get a ground floor room.
"Work stopover"
Lovely and clean....staff was excellent... especially Becks who served us... she was very busy... but always polite and helpful
"Good staff. Tired Premier Inn and very, very basic restaurant."
Staff in both the Inn and the pub/restaurant were great. Comfortable bed. This Premier Inn does however seem a little run down and tired. Restaurant was dreadful. Very run down. Food very basic and not very good. It seems there are few evening eateries in Liskeard so think a trick is being missed here to attract ore trade. Staff were generally friendly and good.
"Great staff, hotel ok, restaurant looks like it's being closed down, not refurbished. "
Firstly and most importantly, the staff at this hotel are amazing, and really helpful. The hotel itself is rundown, the lift hasn't worked over a month, our room was on the top floor. The restaurant is in a state of managed decline, very poor.
"Not the best stay."
Wasn't a brilliant stay , we wanted a walk in shower but ended up in a disabled room, totally inappropriate. Shower floor had mould growth on it, drain smelt awful when we first ran the shower, generally in need of an upgrade. The bed was uncomfortable, two singles pushed together with no extra topper so had a ridge down the middle, certainly not up to Premier Inn normal high standard. As for the noise level of door slamming, it was dreadful. Kids running around overhead at the weekend until the early hours was almost too much to bear, in fact, we checked out early. All in all, not great.
